Mold in rooms, staff were rude & not helpful, they only cared about the restaurant. No one was there for check in/check out. No fans or windows. Nothing like the photos.

- I took the privite room It smells like you are in the frying pan all day becouse the restaurant kitchen goes directly to the hostel. as a vegetarian that was really horrible, the shower electrocuted me every time and the bed really old and uncomfortable
+ Gostei que não havia horário de check-out, e como meu ônibus era só a noite, pude ficar o dia todo no quarto descansando. Gostei que confiaram na minha palavra e fizeram o mesmo preço acordado no booking.
- Haviam duas camas no meu quarto, mas a que escolhi dormir estava funda no meio do colchão, não era confortável, não havia firmeza nenhuma. O chuveiro saía água aos pingos e gelada, não esquentou de jeito nenhum (e para chamar alguém tem que descer 2 lances de escada, sair para a rua e entrar no estabelecimento do lado, onde fica o restaurante, pois não existe recepção no local), e caíram vários mosquitos do chuveiro quando o abri, e ainda por cima o ralo estava entupido (e ficou assim até a hora que fui embora), então a água não escoava e tive que tomar banho com o pé submerso na água "suja" (que eu já tinha me lavado) e os mosquitos que caíram boiando ao redor. Foi extremamente estressante.
(+) short distance from the beach, nice host, surf lesson was fun! Good breakfast. Overall good enough for a few nights staying. (-) female room was too hot, only a small loud fan after requesting, overall needs maintenance looks rather shabby and some of the beds are super uncomfortable. few common areas, little atmosphere.
+ Die Zimmer hatten jeweils ein privates Badezimmer. Die Lage war sehr gut. Alle sehr freundlich, das Frühstück wurde im Restaurant unten eingenommen.
- Das Personal war nicht wirklich vor Ort um Fragen zu beantworten.
+ Personne très accueillante et chaleureuse Petit déjeuner agréable
- Salle de bain pas très propre et pas très pratique, toilette dans la chambre… Le gros point négatif c’est les horaires du petit déjeuner (8h30-11h) , il faudrait le commencer au moins 1 h avant ça serait beaucoup plus pratique…

The staff here are so nice, Randy is an absolute legend and gave me lots of tips and advice staying in the area! Surf lesson was great! The kitchen downstairs does awesome food! Although I was the only guess checked in at my time of stay and traveling solo I still had a great time!
Best hostel I've found in huanchaco. rooms are super big and cozy, included breakfast is incredible and the restaurants downstairs is great if you need something quick. You can talk with Randy to set up some surf lessons for quite cheap. highly recommend!
+ Audrey est ultra sympa ! La terrasse est super agréable, la chambre double vue sur mer et sur le spot de surf est top ! Idéal pour aller surfer car quasiment en face du point de mise à l’eau. Des combinaisons et des planches sont à louer :)
- Des améliorations nécessaires sont en cours dans les sanitaires !

Love the spot … could use a little more utilities for the kitchen and could be a little cleaner but overall I loved my stay as I extended for an extra 5 days . The owner is really chill and the workers are really friendly and nice!! It has an amazing terrasse, close to the beach, stores and restaurants! The town is really small and walkable. You can easily cross path with the same people everyday :)

établissement très sympa et tranquille, parfait pour aller surfer. Le petit dej est abondant et le resto de l'hostel propose de très bons plats à des super prix. Randy est très aimable!
Very nice and quiet accommodation, perfect for surfing. breakfast is plentiful and the rest of the hostel offers very good dishes at super prices. randy is very friendly!

Best hostel I've found in huanchaco. rooms are super big and cozy, included breakfast is incredible and the restaurants downstairs is great if you need something quick. You can talk with Randy to set up some surf lessons for quite cheap. highly recommend!
Nice Hostel with very friendly staff, especially the host. He gave me a lot of traveling and surfing advice. It’s right above a restaurant and the included breakfast is very good!
Randal was great host who helped me find safe driver and was accommodating. Laid back environment and close to the beach
I had a great stay!! Everyone who worked there was great, super close to the beach and a great breakfast!

Great! chilled atmosphere in the hostel and nice owner. I arrived early in the morning and left late the next night and were allowed to stay in the room the whole time. Surfing lessons were fun! And the breakfast is great.
