Würde nicht einmal hierher zurückkehren, selbst wenn es nur 5 Euro pro Nacht kosten würde. Mein Entsetzen über diesen Ort ist grenzenlos. Suchen Sie nach einem 100-Euro-pro-Nacht-Zoo mit einer Vogelspinne im WC und einem Skorpion im Bett? Ja, ich wünschte, es wäre ein Witz, aber ich habe noch nie so viel Angst in meinem Leben gehabt. - Dans le même temps, il n y a pas grand chose à Playa grande hormis surfer, surfer et surfer. Tamarindo bien qu à 15 minutes à pied et bateau (jusqu’à 17h) n est accessible pour ses restaurants qu avec 45 min de voiture. C est le pire rapport qualité prix de Costa Rica pour moi…sur neuf pipes, seulement deux occupés, j ai failli déprimer après un jour, il faut que le prix soit divisé par deux pour que cela vaille la peine de dormir dans 3m2…et le petit déjeuner pas terrible du tout

Pros: good for travellers seeking a private, quiet beach getaway. Breakfast was excellent Cons: isolated location with very limited access to Tamarindo, particularly in the evening. The rooms are smaller than they appear (not even tall enough to stand up straight if above 5’7”) and the A/C blows directly on your face all night, either too cold to sleep or too hot to leave off. El personal siempre fue muy amable. El lugar es muy lindo y la playa que tiene enfrente también. Es un lugar para ir con auto porque no tiene acceso facil caminando. No esta cerca del centro. Había muchas hormigas por todo el hostel, incluyendo la cocina donde se apoyaba la comida y eso era muy incomodo.

+ It is a really nice accommodation with a great common sitting area that also includes a small gym. It was a fun experience to sleep in a pipe. Every pipe has an air conditioner.
- As I don’t like sleeping with an air conditioner it was getting quite hot inside. But for one night and the experience it was alright.

Great stay at the pipe house, the beach is super close, it’s very calm and perfect for sunsets ! Felipe is very nice and helpful, he was really flexible and a good surfing teacher The pipe house is very clean, staff very sweet and the breakfast amazing and Costa Rican . 100% recommand ! :)
Sehr coole Location, etwas ausserhalb Tamarindo (mit dem Auto 45 Minuten). Sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber! Die Pipe’s sind eher klein - kein Platz für Gepäck und für Nicht-Paare zu eng😬Playa Grande ist top und zu Fuss mit Fähre ist Tamarindo auch schnell erreichbar. Wer Erholung und Ruhe sucht wird hier definitiv fündig.

one of my fav spots that i’ve stayed at. everyone especially the staff were so amazing and kind. had one of the best few days ever here!
+ Unique and comfortable rooms. Amazing location just a few minutes from the beach. The beach is extremely quiet as is the location. Felipe was extremely responsive and helpful. Delicious breakfast included. The hammocks were great for relaxing!
- Would be nice to have private bathroom option but it’s with sharing to have the unique sleep space!

+ Die Zimmer sind sehr außergewöhnlich das Hotel hat einen gemütlichen Garten mit vielen Liegemöglichkeiten und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet dass man selber etwas kochen kann alles ist sehr sauber und die Lage ist fantastisch direkt an einem großen leeren Sandstrand
- Wer empfindlich bzgl. Klimaanlage ist, sollte diese Zimmer nicht buchen. Es wird sehr warm und die Klimaanlage ist direkt über den Köpfen. Das ist aber auch das einzige.

Really nice place with lovely staff. Only thing to be aware of is the difficultcy of travelling into Tamarindo city. The water taxis are nice but only run until 5 PM. Otherwise it's a 40 minute drive into the city
+ I liked how responsive they were when I realized I needed a late check in. I had questions beforehand as well that were answered promptly.
- Once I got through the gate, the main entrance was not labeled so I was a bit confused as to where to go. Since it was late at night I couldn’t ask anyone. But I figured it out. This was such a cool place to stay. I was only there for one night and didn’t have much time to chill in the hammocks or on the beach. I would definitely stay here again. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and the entire vibe was perfect!

Had a very nice time! Friendly and communicative staff and the perfect location with good amenities. Would come back!

+ Endroit tranquille, propre, air climatisé fonctionnel dans chaque habitation, directement à qq pas de la plage, la chance d'avoir de magnifique coucher de soleil,
- Rien, mais sachez que l'hôtel est situé là dernière sur la rue, la plus éloignée de la principale. Un moyen de transport personnel est nécessaire selon moi.
+ Schick aufgebaut und direkter Zugang zum Strand.
- Wenig Platz im Schlafraum.
