Nightmare experience.
Las fotos del sitio se ven muy agradables y tiene muy buenos comentarios, lastima que no logramos hacer una reserva a pesar de que insistimos por 3 días, no se que persona esta encarga de la comunicación telefónica (llamada y WhatsApp) pero realmente es muy displicente para dar una respuesta, importante tener en cuenta a las personas interesadas en hospedarse y que no tenemos el placer de conocer el sitio.
Kinda of weird and stuffy. Not sure why so popular but far from town, expensive compared to other places and certainly not a party place. Kinda boring and conventional.
Lindo lugar muy acogedor
La maison est très belle, les chambres sont propres et les femmes de ménage sont adorables. Par contre, le manager peut mettre mal à l’aise. Au début, il paraît très gentil, propose des activités et donne beaucoup de conseils, ce qui inspire confiance. Mais une fois seule avec lui, son comportement devient intrusif et inapproprié. Les femmes qui voyagent seules devraient rester vigilantes. Le lieu a du potentiel, mais nous n’y retournerions pas à cause de ce sentiment d’insécurit...
The house is very beautiful, the rooms are clean and the cleaning ladies are adorable. On the other hand, the manager can make you uncomfortable. At first, he seems very nice, offers activities and gives a lot of advice, which inspires confidence. But once alone with him, his behavior becomes intrusive and inappropriate. Women who travel alone should remain vigilant. The place has potential, but we would not return because of this feeling of insecurity.

Pour les voyageuses seules, je recommande de la vigilance. L’homme de la réception peut mettre mal à l’aise. Aussi, il a fait une scène parce qu’il ne voulait pas laisser deux lits qui étaient innocupés à des clients qui étaient pris tard dans le tonnerre et la pluie… assez spécial. Sinon, l’endroit est très beau et le reste du personnel est très aimable.
For the solo travelers, I recommend vigilance. the receptionist can make you uncomfortable. also, he made a scene because he didn't want to leave two beds that were unoccupied to customers who were caught late in the thunder and rain... pretty special. otherwise, the place is very nice and the rest of the staff is very friendly.
It’s a good hostel with super comfortable queensize beds — which is super comfortable. The kitchen is extensive which is also a big plus. It was quit empty when I was there but I guess that’s due to the off season. Had an overall good time and recommend staying here.
I stayed at this hostel for 4 nights. I was able to meet other travellers and locals and mingle with them. The setting of this hostel is very nice. There in many plants and trees on the property giving it a unique and tranquil feel. The dogs are not loud as with some other hostels. The kitchen was cleaned everyday and there is many tour guide pamphlets in the main room to get you started to prepare to explore San Agustín. Good, decent hostel.

My favourite hostel of all time! Incredible staff that make you feel instantly at home and help with activities / organising further travel. The place is super clean, the facilities are great. I’ve stayed in a 4-bed female dorm and the room was huge, with single beds (no bunks), a private balcony and a bathroom next door. Beautiful views, lots of spots to chill. I booked 2 nights, extended to 6. The atmosphere there is incredible and I hope to be back one day.
Best hostel I stayed in! No bunk beds, a very big dorm room with comfortable beds and a private balcony with a beautiful view. The staff is super friendly and the short walk from the town absolutely worth it. I felt very much at home :)
Excellente auberge à San Augustin, placée sur les hauteurs de la ville avec une vue magnifique sur la vallée (15min du centre en descente/20 en montée). L'auberge est grande, bien équipée avec des espaces communs agréables. Les chambres sont spacieuses, lits confortables avec un balcon.

It's a great place to stay.. So peaceful, clean, friendly and secure.. Has beautiful garden to chill..I would definitely suggest..
Diese Unterkunft ist einfach so toll! Nettes Personal, tolle und idyllische Lage, super sauber und sehr bequeme Betten. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt, um runterkommen und ein paar entspannte Tage in San Agustin zu verbringen! Ich würde definitiv wiederkommen

I had the best time at Casa de Nelly and would’ve loved to stay even longer than I already did. It’s a place where you quickly start to feel at home, especially because of the warm atmosphere and kind people working there. The surroundings are beautiful, the village is really cute with lots of nice places to eat and I felt really welcomed and safe all the time.
Amazing place. The elderly cleaning lady was mostl grumpy and distant, I tried to cheer her up and finally got a smile.Theres's as well as younger family of owners living there and the lady seemed quite distant to me, it's always a bit weird when owners who got fed up with guests hang out in the communal spaces for guests. the kitchen has a worn out feel to it, but in a Colombian context that's totally OK. I didn't count those things into my ratings because the rest was simply awesome.
Casa de Nelly is such a beautiful and cozy place that just invites you to spend a lot of time there. Harry and the staff are super kind and always happy to help. One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Can definitely recommend coming here!
Me quedé diez noches en Casa De Nelly y me hubiera quedado mucho más tiempo! En este encantador jardín hay muchos lugares para relajarse y descansar. Por eso pude recargar energías muy bien aquí, aunque me alojé en uno de los dormitorios femeninos. Harry me ayudó mucho con mis planes de viaje. Estoy deseando volver aquí en el futuro!!

I stayed ten nights at Casa De Nelly and I could have stayed much longer! in this lovely garden there are many places to relax and rest. so I was able to recharge my energy very well here, although I stayed in one of the women's dormitories. harry helped me a lot with my travel plans. i am looking forward to coming back here in the future!!
Je pense que c'est mon hostel préféré de toute la Colombie. On s'y sent comme chez soi et les rencontres y sont vraiment faciles.

A lovley hostel with such a cozy and social feeling. Beautiful nature, comfy rooms and kind staff & owner. One of the best ones i’ve been at, warmly recomend! 🌺
The best hostel I’ve stayed in during my 3 months in Colombia. Beautiful location, the kitchen is amazing and the bed is super comfortable. The feel of the hostel is so cosy it felt like I was at home. Harry is so helpful, very welcoming and always there to help for advice on places to visit and organisation. His music and humour is 10/10 and I know I’ll be back one day ! Gracias por todo 😁
Loved it here! Could stay here for way longer! It's super quit surrounded by nature but you're in town in around 15 minutes (walk). Loved the garden, the view, the spacious women dorm and the common areas. It really feels like home! The kitchen provides everything you need for cooking, they have filtered water and the staff is super nice and helpful.
Super schönes, ruhiges Hostel. Etwas abgelegener, dafür aber eine wunderschöner Garten und tolle Aussicht. Leckeres Frühstück Café und die beste Heiße Schokolade die ich in Kolumbien je hatte. Es gibt Hängematten in denen man gut entspannen kann. Kann ich sehr weiter empfehlen !!
Super schönes, ruhiges Hostel. A little more rural, but with a beautiful garden and great views. Leckeres Frühstück Café and the best Hot Chocolate that i have had in Colombia. There are Hangmatten where you can relax. Can ich highly recommend it !!
Amazing hotel, spacious, nicely decorated, fresh and with lovely gardens. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, all clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, and friendly and helpful host. We were lucky to land here. It’s also a bit far from the city centre so you don’t breathe polluted air (there are thousands of motorbikes choking the streets) and it’s quiet.
