Naga Hostel & Cafe

Bathroom ant toilet always clean but in the dorm the smell was really bad, there are no windows! We booked a nightbus to vientiane at the hostel. A tuktuk picked us up at the hostel at 8pm and brought us to the busstation. Although we booked the bus two days in advance and the hostel said they make shure we'll have a good place we had to wait until midnight for the bus to come. when you book the bus directly at the busstation i'ts only 200.000

It’s a great location (considering it being a small town and you are probably just looking for a bike to do the loop), very clean (shoes outside) and good facilities, the staff (owner) was very friendly and gave some great information for the scooter loop! There is a curfew with this place, something we found a tad bit too strict (but makes for great safety) and it is not the cheapest place in Laos, but these are all minor things. All in all it was very good! Just keep in mind of the curfew.

A basic hostel for what you need before going on the Thakhek Loop. Provide you with a google document with places to visit/avoid which was very useful. Shower and toilets were clean and bed was comfortable!

Stayed here for one night prior to the loop. The hostel was very clean and the staff were nice and helpful. Not very social hostel unfortunately so not ideal to meet people prior to the loop. Would recommended however if you just need a comfy quiet spot to stay the night.

Clean! Very clean. Best bed I’ve stayed in on my travels in SE Asia — reminded me of home. Wish breakfast was included, kind of an expensive stay for what you get. I do appreciate they allowed us to leave our bags for the loop & I felt safe doing so.

Make sure to arrive before the end of the check-in afterwards she close the door for the night

Een hele lege hostelkamer en geen bbq toen ik er was dus misschien niet de volledige sfeer mee kunnen pakken. Maar de plek, de voorzieningen en het personeel zijn goed

Solide Unterkunft um den Takhek Loop zu starten. Man bekommt eine Karte mit allen Attraktionen und man bekommt sehr viel Hilfe um seinen Trip zu organisieren.

the owners were so kind and helpful. facilities are nice and location is quite good. the ladders are quite difficult to climb down

Lovely little hostel in Thakhek and they gave us all the information we needed to start and complete the Thakhek bike loop! Rooms and facilities were clean, didn’t have any issues here at all. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, would highly recommend Naga. Thanks again!

The staff is so friendly and helpful! The beds were great and the hostel was very clean. The breakfast was also great. They are super helpful with planning the loop, would definitely recommend!!

If you’re doing the Thakhek Loop, you must stay here! The staff are amazing; they provide all information you could ever need for the loop and offer support while on the loop! The hostel is clean, well looked after and comfy beds. Stayed here both before and after the loop, highly recommend!

Super auberge. Personnel sympathique, les dortoirs dont top, WC et douche en dehors du dortoir mais très propre. La nouritture était bonne

Stayed in this hostel before and after the Thakhek loop and I loved it, the staff were so friendly and they helped with information for the loop too which was so useful during our trip. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is in thakhek

Sehr saubere Unterkunft, gemütliche Betten und großartige Lage.Ich habe noch nie so einen hilfsbereiten und kommunikativen Hostelbesitzer Kennenlernen dürfen. Obwohl er am nächsten Tag in den Urlaub ging, half er mir trotzdem mit dem Wäscheservice und war über das Handy erreichbar. Wer den Loop fahren möchte ist hier auch bestens aufgehoben, da man eine Google Maps Karte erhält mit allen Informationen. Ich kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen !

Good hostel. Perfect for starting the Thakhek loop. They will send you a very detailed map of best places to go and ones that are not a must see. Very helpful.

Super clean and organised! Warm showers. Such a helpful host with all of the information you could possibly need to do the Thakhek loop and bag storage. Would recommend to anyone doing the loop to stay here before starting

Highly recommend this hostel. Clean and modern facilities. The owners are the best, they are super helpful and give amazing tips for the thakek loop. They also helped organise our transfers and were very responsive. Great hostel!!!

This is the cleanest hostel I have been to so far. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff are extremely nice and helpful, especially for the loop with precious advice provided to travelers.
