Abraham Tel Aviv

It's not common for me to write a revrew of this magnitude. We visited the Abraham Hostel in Tel Aviv for 2 nights and 3 days. Location: on the brinks of southern Tel Aviv, located right in between all of the most attractive tourist and non tourist attractions. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't move it until we left, as everything was a walk away. Arrival: We arrived at about 3PM. We were greeted by a very professional and good vibe happy staff. Check in was a breeze, the staff let us know about local events (at the hostel and outside of it). We got our Nfc keys and headed up to our room. The room: The pictures online do not do any justice with the rooms they provide. Unfortunately I did not take any pictures of the room. It is EXTREMELY clean, well air conditioned, easily passes the bed bug test, the shower is very spacious, strong water pressure, unlimited hot water, liquid soap dispenser and clean mirror. The room also had a mini fridge that was spotless, a tray with instant and Turkish coffee, tea and sugar. Also four mugs. Each floor has vending machines which are reasonably priced. They accept credit cards and cash. The Bar(s): Three bars to choose from! One is right across the reception area, the other is in the lounge and the third one is on the rooftop (more to come about that!) They offer a few types of draft beer and bottled beer as well. They have a very nice alcohol menu in general. The prices at the bar are well below average for the area. The bars also offer munchies, although I didn't have any, they looked great and I regret not trying them. The rooftop is a gem. It is well planned with the bar, lots of comfortable seating around the bar, a great view of Tel Aviv, the amazing guests add so much to the rooftop fun. The lounge is open for breakfast, from 7:30AM. They offer a wide variety of fresh vegetables, cheese, cereals, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, tahini, hummus, pesto, fresh sour dough bread and much, much more. Also available are automatic espresso/latte machines, orange juice and lemonade from the tap. For people who are in dorms, the lounge offers collective refrigerators so they can also keep their food fresh. There is a pool table, pinball machine, lots of activities that the staff and other guests arrange. This is an extremely honest review, and I am looking forward to visit the rest of their hostels in Israel. Especially Eilat. Thank you Abraham hostel. You made our trip to Tel Aviv fun. We did NOT expect to spend so much time indoors, but as I said earlier, it's just so.. peaceful.
