+ The close location to the dock is the only good thing about the property.
- Staff/owners are scammers. Uncomfortable beds and bed bugs! Unprofessional staff. No noise cancellation rooms. No back up generators for constant power outages. Everything was awful.

- Em van contactar per WhattsApp per dir-me que tenien més reserves que habitacions i que no hi podiem anar. Els vaig demanar que em cancelecin la reserva per poder gestionar-ho amb booking pero només em van enviar una proposta de modificació de dates que no em servia :(
I contacted them via whatsapp to tell me that they had more reservations than rooms and that we couldn't go. i asked them to cancel the reservation so i could manage with booking but they only sent me a proposal to modify dates that didn't serve me: (((
+ Great breakfast
- Firstly I will start with that I think we were just very unfortunate during our stay. We arrived booking a private room with private bathroom and noticed on our 2nd day that the water in the wet room / shower room was not draining. When reported the team essentially said there was a leak and they couldn’t do anything until the following day. As one can imagine constantly walking through stagnant water to use the toilet is disgusting. When checking out we asked if there was any chance we could be compensated as a result of a non fully functioning room and we were met with hostility from the staff. We were told that we were frauds, that we didn’t report soon enough and they even resulted to unprofessional snide comments and threats. Unfortunately one cannot report a problem until they realise there is on and in this case we needed to use the full facilities to realise they were not working as they should. The response of the staff was unacceptable and ruined our stay. I can share screenshots of the WhatsApp conversation for reference. In addition to the above, noise is the general issue from Mr Mullets. However this can be solved by ear plugs.

Pros: rooftop space with views of the lake, very central and close to everything, the hostel itself is quiet and calm Cons: there is no reception and when I arrived I couldn't find anyone to check me in (multiple guests had this issue during my stay). Nearby venues were blasting music until late both nights I stayed. My room had a window on an internal wall which looked into the next room. Furniture in common areas was well overdue for replacement.
Google Maps directions from Hostelworld led us 17 minutes in the wrong direction and we felt very unsafe. First night we saw a cockroach in our room. Staff was hesitantly helpful when we said our fan was broken and accused us of breaking it before actually helping. We heard a clearly intoxicated man outside screaming for 3 hours one night and did not sleep well. Sheets were also not the cleanest. HOWEVER, for the price a room and bathroom for yourself is great. Good location in San Pedro.

Perfect location, breakfast included was perfect for the mornings. Room really nice and generally quiet. Not really a social spot. No official reception so checking in or bag storage can be confusing until you find the host. Overall great stay!

Nice view, breakfast included although it is very small. it is well located, near exit of tours and the pier. we had a big suitcase and climbing it so many floors was difficult

amazing staff that make you a delicious breaky! the view from the top is amazing.
Près du Mr. Mullet, mais pourtant très silencieux dans la chambre. Les oreillers sont peu confos, mais en general nous sommes très satisfaits de notre visite. Parfait pour aller faire le party et revenir dormir en tranquillité.
The pillows are a little confused, but overall we are very satisfied with our visit. perfect for going to the party and coming back to sleep in peace.
+ Hospedaje Gonzalez is located in a strategic area of San Pedro La Laguna. I had read previous reviews mentioning that the hospedaje was difficult to find, but I’m happy to say that this has improved, as there is now a large sign at the entrance of the street. My room was on the top floor (there is no elevator), and while it was simple, it was comfortable. One thing to be aware of is that there was no hot water available. This is a basic hospedaje, so it’s important not to expect a five-star luxury hotel. However, it offers excellent value for money considering its central location (just five minutes from the port) and the fact that a small breakfast is included.
- When I arrived, no one was available to check me in, and I had another commitment in San Marcos La Laguna. I managed to get the attention of an elderly woman who seemed to live or work there, and she kindly allowed me to leave my luggage in a room and return later to complete the check-in. That said, it was a bit frustrating because I had emailed in advance to let them know that I needed to drop off my luggage quickly before heading to the other village.

The staff were so lovely and helpful, the free breakfast was divine and also a good money saver. Location couldn’t be better, next to party hostel if you wanna get your freak on. Couldn’t ask for better value for money. Thank you :)
+ Op twee minuten lopen van de pier en midden in het centrum, zit dit fijne plekje met enorm gastvrije mensen. Je ontbijt op het dakterras met uitzicht op het meer.
Two minutes walk from the pier and right in the centre, this is a nice place with enormously hospitable people.
+ Stunning lake view. Close location to ferry. Warm hospitality. Reasonable price.

- As janales do banehro não eram proprieamente janelas, e sim aberturas no alto, que não dava arra fechar. A noite a temperatura cai bastente e entra um vento frio, tornando o momento do banho meio ruim.
The location was the best, the room was very simple and clean, as it is in the photos. cost very good. as janales do banhro were not properly windows, and sim openings in the top, which did not allow to close. at night the temperature drops sufficiently and a cold wind comes in, making the moment of bathing half bad.
