I booked a one-night stay at Hotel Hub Venice Mestre but was extremely disappointed. Upon arrival after a long travel day, the front office was unattended with the main door unlocked and no staff present or note left. This raised serious security concerns — anyone could have walked in, accessed the elevator, or gone behind the desk. When the staff member finally returned, he was short, rude, and offered no assistance with my luggage. I had to carry everything myself through a back alley and up...
DON'T BOOK..RUN..NOT SAFE..Thieves that they try to overcharge by ignoring the price listed on hostel world, cheats, smells like chemicals to mask rotting flesh..bullish behave to make people over pay, making threats to make people stay or pay.
I booked at 73 euros but they deducted 107 euros ?? I don't know why they cheated me
Terrible, huge mistake to book here. More seedy motel than hotel or hostel, and there are FAR better options just a few blocks away at comparable $. No security at all— physical keys (not key cards as advertised) to a rickety lock on bedroom door, outside doors do not lock and are left wide open. The room smelled strongly of cleaning fumes, yet floor & walls were dirty and gross. Did not trust that the bed or any surface were actually clean. Left immediately to find safer place to stay.
No hostel vibe at all - just a budget hotel with no cleaning. Room reeked of harsh chemicals all day and night, gave us headaches after 20 minutes, and forced us to leave the window open (which barely helped) and mean we got eaten by mosquitos all night. There is no atmosphere, no social spaces. Location is near the bus station which is convenient but feels unsafe at night. Wouldn’t stay again.
Gabinetto sporco di feci e con fondo lurido. Asciugamani macchiati, tende macchiate. Prestazione asettico, ascensore spaventoso e pericolante, meglio prendere le scale. Personale comunque gentile. La posizione di certo è molto comoda, ma troppo sporco, il gabinetto non veniva lavato da chissà quanto tempo
Dirty cabinet of feces and with stinky bottom. stained towels, stained curtains. aseptic performance, scary and dangerous elevator, better take the ladder. staff however kind. the position is certainly very comfortable, but too dirty, the cabinet was not washed for who knows how long

El hostel es exactamente lo que se espera. El unico inconveniente es que el taxista que nos dejo nos advirtio de que la zona en la que estabamos era bastante peligrosa, que tuvieramos mucho cuidado al volver si era de noche. Por lo demas, las habitaciones bien, limpias y comodas. A 5 min andando de la estacion.
The only drawback is that the taxi driver who dropped us off warned us that the area we were in was quite dangerous, that we had to be very careful when returning if it was night.
It was quite close to Venice Mestre station which was nice, but otherwise there wasn’t much I liked about this hostel. We had a private room which was great, however the shower smelled really strongly of mold and mildew and the room smelled way too strongly of cleaning products — so much so that we had to leave the door to the balcony open all day just to make the scent manageable. It was nice they had obviously cleaned the property but really was not pleasant. I wouldn’t stay here again b...
No hot water in the morning . Both external doors to the sidewalk and courtyard left wide open during the night, in winter .

En general, mi experiencia en Hotel Hub Venice fue buena. Las instalaciones estaban limpias y la habitación muy cómoda, la ubicación es muy conveniente si llegas en tren o bus. Sin embargo, tuve un problema con el check-in: mi autobús se retrasó y llegué pasadas las 12 de la noche, cuando ya había cerrado la recepción. Me cobraron un recargo de 8€ por llegar a las 12:30, lo cual no me esperaba, y fue difícil comunicarme con ellos con antelación. Aparte de eso, todo estuvo muy bien, m...
Overall, my experience at Hotel Hub Venice was good. The facilities were clean and the room very comfortable, the location is very convenient if you arrive by train or bus. However, I had a problem with the check-in: my bus was late and I arrived after 12pm, when the reception had already closed. They charged me a surcharge of €8 for arriving at 12:30, which I did not expect, and it was difficult to communicate with them in advance. Other than that, everything was very good, very pleasant

Cumple con lo básico y bien ubicado. Pagué con desayuno y al llegar me dicen que no tienen ese servicio.
I paid for breakfast and when I arrive they tell me they don't have that service.

This is a great option for those not wanting to pay the high price for staying in Venice itself. It is very close to the train station, and the stop for the #2 bus which takes you to Venice. There's a large grocery store very close. The best thing about this hotel is that it has a kitchen on the 3rd floor, which we were allowed to use. The staff is friendly and were very attentive to our needs and questions.
Excellent location near Venezia Mestre Train Station. Only the security in the surrounding area need to be s bit more careful.

This place is a great choice if you want to visit Venice and the region for a few days avoiding the extremely high princes of the Venezia island. Be aware that Mestre is NOT a very touristic or nice city. The hotel is clean and has basic facilities. Do not expect a great hostel-like atmosphere. The surroundings are quiet and the railway station is 5 min away.
All in all an affordable, clean hostel within a 5 minute walk of the Mestre station and various restaurants and shops, all located in one quiet neighborhood just outside of Venice.
