As this is a public forum, i wont get into details, however, I told the staff about an issue with security in the womens dorm and they didnt take care of it. It was a serious issue so i seriously hope they fix it as soon as possible.

The bed stink like wet feet. (Shared) only 2 showers worked, girl said their was no blow dryer but I found one.

I’ve always heard horror stories about hostels so I was definitely nervous coming here as it was my first time in a hostel, but let me tell you I was so surprised by how amazing my stay was. Starting from the room, I stayed in the 6 bed female dorm and the bed was so comfortable, sheets were clean and I loved the ability to still get some privacy with the curtains that you can wrap around your bed. I also got very lucky as the girls in my room were so sweet, so respectful and kind towards one ...

Toplocatie met ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Elke avond werden er leuke activiteiten georganiseerd, wat zorgde voor een gezellige sfeer. Daarnaast was alles super schoon – echt een fijne plek om te verblijven! Amazing location with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Fun activities were organized every evening, creating a great and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was also super clean – truly a great place to stay!

The staff were very helpful and helped my bag up the stairs and the bed has a curtain so nice and private would recommend this hostel to others for sure :)

Amazing staff, great location and great breakfast. It's a relatively smaller hostel compared to the ones downtown, which makes it special and cosy.

had the best experience staying at this hostel! The vibe was super young, energetic, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They organize amazing night activities that make it so easy to meet people and connect with other travelers. One of my favorite moments was the Sunday night BBQ — the homemade fries were honestly incredible, even better than street fries! The food, atmosphere, and people made it such a memorable night. Omg, I loved this hostel so much! One of the best hostels I stayed in! It’s a bit small and the dorms sometimes smell stuffy when full. But its small size also makes guests running into each other more. It‘s a very social, comfy and clean hostel. There are free activities planned for every day, sometimes including free food, instruments and board games to play with and a small yet well-equipped kitchen. It’s more like a shared flat than a hostel — where you feel like part of a big fam...

Thank you Reuben and staff for a wonderful first hostel experiences your facilities are kept up wonderfully every day and night;. At first I was a bit apprehensive, but getting to chat with some of the other guests was very helpful. I stayed two nights and felt like these were friends, not strangers. The age varied from 18 to 60 years old, I highly recommend anyone to stay and enough SanDiego/Mission beach By staying at ITH MISSON BEACH HOSTEL, I promise you will not regret it!

Unser Aufenthalt war wundervoll! Die Mitarbeiter und anderen Gäste waren super und am Ende hat es sich wie eine Familie angefühlt. Die Räumlichkeiten waren alle sauber und ordentlich! Das Frühstück war umsonst und es gab eine Waschmaschine und Trockner. Das Hostel ist 2 Minuten zu Fuß von der Bushaltestelle entfernt und mit diesem kommt man überall hin. Ich würde jedem dieses Hostel empfehlen. Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit!

Great spot, really couldn’t ask for better from a hostel Pro -LOCATION -1 block from the beach -Very convenient bus access -Friendly staff -Seemed clean -lots of restaurants and things to do around area Con -Feels cramped, they really maxed out using space -Female dorm was very dark, hard to tell cleanliness -Female dorm is right next to living room, can hear all the noise and floor movement from people walking I would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

I loved it here! One of my favourite hostels! Great location and really social and that’s to do with the people who work there and the effort they put in to making e terrine feel welcome and included ❤️

Best place ever

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first time staying at a hostel. This team was so inclusive. Felt like family right away. Warm, welcoming, fun inclusive! Close, the beach, amusement park, dining. Park easy access to Ubers.

As all the other reviews allude to, this is a top notch hostel. Extremely welcoming people, wonderful souls all together. Place is well run and squeaky clean, and common room/kitchen are iniviting. None of the activities are alcohol centric, so you can socialize each evening without the need to drink which is great, particularly in a city like San Diego where the morning swims are blissful. Location is perfect 👌 quiet at night besides some show offs on motorcycles. 10/10 overall experience.

Reuben and Madeleine and all of the others were so wonderful! Best staff ever and it is such a beautiful, clean hostel. Taco Tuesday was perfect not only because it was great food but also accommodated my husband and I as vegetarians. Will definitely stay again :) Jo

I had THE BEST experience! Hospitality is 10/10 if not better, location is absolutely amazing (!!!), comfortable bed, a PROPER comforter on that bed (so rare), and a wooden rollercoaster across the street! (It’s not a noisy problem though). Also, MUCH cleaner than the last place I stayed. Shockingly good water pressure in the showers 😁… seriously not a negative thing to say.

The staff and the facilities met, even exceeded my expectations. I have nothing but raving reviews for Rubin and the team. I was welcomed and treated like family the moment I arrived, the staff does an excellent job making everyone feel included. If I could give the staff/volunteers a higher rating then 5 I absolutely would! It was chillier in my room than I would have liked, however we all operate on different temperature scales. My experience out weighed the temperature!

One of my favorite hostels! Not only are the volunteers amazing and thoughtful, but the hostel itself has a beautiful environment that makes everyone feel comfortable. This hostel is great for one night or up to 14 (like I did) lol! Can’t wait to come visit again because it felt like an actual home vs a pit stop. Location: perfect! Less than 500ft from the beach, across from the amusement park (the rollercoasters are so fun), and walking distance to many restaurants! I enjoyed walking to Pacif...

my girlfriend and I loved this place. it was her second time and my first staying in a hostel but would highly recommend it.
