Ozzie Pozzie Backpackers

Property to me was slightly outdated - the common areas outside are fine but the kitchen is basic. We had a 6 bed female dorm with en suite and the beds are old, bathroom tiny and grim, the curtains looks ancient, dirty with holes. We all just fell asleep early so we could leave first thing the next day. I get the impression it’s a lot of long term guests as it was not particularly social.

I last about 36 hours before I was bored and left early to go to Sydney ….

Ozzie pozzie backpackers was bearable coming from a high standard girly! I didn’t have much interaction with the staff as reception was only open 9am-1pm. It wasn’t very social and a lot of the people staying there were long term. Rooms were tiny and had no lockers but thankfully it wasn’t full during my stay. However, it was very clean and the facilities were really nice. The location was about a 10-15min walk from anything and quite far from the beach.

Kleine hostelkamer, wibbelige bedden waarbij je elke draai voelt, weinig douches en te kleine keuken. Overige gezamelijke ruimtes prima.

A decent hostel. Room smelled like cigarettes

Great hostel with lovely pool which was very useful with the hot weather! However big negative about this hostel is the lack of air con in the dorms. It was extremely hot at night , literally soaked in sweat and hard to sleep!! Kitchen good variety and spacious, large lockers to use, Showers in female bathrooms are quite weak flow otherwise good bathrooms. Staff are very friendly and chatty. Chilled vibe. Has tv room with loads of films, table tennis, chess, pool etc. All free to use.

Nice and clean hostel. Some furniture could need an upgrade. No aircon in room. Stayed there in sunmer, so it was very hot.

Ich habe die Leute dort geliebt. Man war gleich integriert & alles haben einen mit offenen Armen empfangen. Die Zimmer sind etwas veraltet, ein bisschen Renovierung würde hier ganz gut tun. Die sanitären Anlagen waren immer sauber. Die Küche ist geräumig, am Abend aber ziemlich voll. Man hat einen Pool zum entspannen & Leute treffen. Der Weg ins Zentrum ist etwas länger, aber easy fussläufig erreichbar. Wer wert auf coole Leute & nette Kontakte legt ist hier genau richtig.

Man kann alles schnell zu Fuß erreichen. Die Küche ist nicht sehr organisiert, es gibt nur eine Herdplatte und die Töpfe fallen fast auseinander bzw sind nicht mehr beschichtet. Die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind ok. Der Außenbereich bietet genug Möglichkeiten sich zu beschäftigen

Eins der besten Hostels in dem ich in Australien war! Sehr entspannter Vibe, nette Leute und günstig.

LOVE ozzie pozzie - mainly because both times I’ve stayed I’ve ended up having the room to myself

Originally my room had cockroaches, which was less than ideal. The staff helped me tremendously and took it very seriously, even refunded my money. They put me in another room which was super clean, and the facilities were really clean too. Overall good vibes. Didn't get to explore much as it rained all day.

Good location on a quiet street, walkable to town/shops. Nice facilities like a pool and nice common areas. Staff were super friendly.

Had 2 nights in Ozzie Pozzie Backpackers - nice and social and great location for shops and beaches. Staff were fabulous and created a community vibe in the hostel but still welcoming to travellers. Nice areas to chill and relax.

All the staff were lovely, everything was clean and tidy and facilities were great

Nice hostel with a pool, big kicthed, tv room. Not too social, a lot of the people work/live there. The rooms are basic, not every bed has a socket. Very nice that you can check in late. Good for a night!

Was having a great time until the cleaner (perhaps manager?) asked me if my “country was also overrun with Muslims” which made me feel awkward for the rest of the stay.

I had a lovely stay here. The single private rooms are super cozy and comfortable. There’s no air-conditioning, but sleeping with the windows open worked perfectly fine.I had a bit of a disaster with my bus, and the staff were incredibly helpful even late in the evening checking options with me and making sure I was okay. It meant a lot.The location is a bit of a walk from most things, but the area is peaceful and the rooms are very clean. Overall, a really pleasant stay

Wahrscheinlich das schönste Hostel, in dem ich bisher war. Die Staffs sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einchecken in der Nacht am Automaten war easy.

perfect little stop off I spend for the night. can leave your bags in lockers outside the room, or inside the room. think outside was such a good idea, meant I didn't need to drag all of my stuff in with me and wake everyone up, instead I just took the stuff I needed in with me. great location, cute little areas to sit and chill, plenty of kitchen space

Beautiful location, loved the private guest room, tucked away from the rest of the backpackers. Friendly vibe, felt very safe and comfortable

Die Unterkunft war in Ordnung. Die Leute waren leider nicht so nett.

Hatte einen guten Aufenthalt, die Mitarbeiter waren unfassbar freundlich:) es gab einen Movieroom & Möglichkeiten mit anderen Reisenden in Kontakt zu treten

This is an awesome little hostel with lots of areas to chill out in! However, the kitchen was very small with no space in the fridge. The bathroom in my dorm was very dirty and smelly, but the communal ones outside were clean. The showers were useless, the one in the room had to be handheld and then the communal ones were either a trickle or just one big messy downpour. It wouldn’t deter me from staying here again though as the beds were comfortable and the chill areas were awesome.

First of all this hostel is SO cute and there are tons of beautiful murals and artwork on every wall you see. It was the middle of winter when i stayed so the normal backpacking crowd was very small. I think it was just me and my friend, and every single employee staying here. During the day the employees and long term residents were very quiet and kept to themselves, but at night they took over the kitchen for hours with their crepes and beer. I think I’d come back in summertime though

Meilleur hostel que j’ai fait jusqu’à présent. Le personnel est trop sympa, les chambres et les espaces communs sont très bien et propres. Une ambiance reposante et chill, trop agréable !!! Proche de tout à pied parfait !!!
