Beds are just wooden frames, doors don’t lock, no space to put your stuff, not enough bathrooms, no clean bathrooms

The location is good and bad! During the day, you feel right in the middle of action. But at night, this place turns to a zoo! It becomes a party city like Vegas and Cancún. And you can’t sleep wt all till all the music is over. The staff were nice. But the facility is very basic! Most of hostels nowadays have more privacy in term of bunker beds. No staff when I arrived at the hostel. Hadn’t received any emails or WhatsApp messages explaining how to get into the building. Waited about 1h. A hostel guest helped me, got in contact & showed me my bed and door codes. Still no staff around.

The check in time needs an update!! Arrived there around 9pm nobody was there. Since I paid in advance and after other guests let me in I just chose a bed I thought wasn’t occupied and put my things on it. Which wasn’t the case- later I found a guy sleeping on my clothes haha The next morning I told the girl at the reception the situation- not even a sorry… No curtains Also you would swamp the whole bathroom when you take a shower. No toilet paper, no hooks

Die Lage ist definitiv top. Das Hostel hat keine Rezeption, was eigentlich kein Problem ist, solange man auch den Code, den man braucht, um ins Hostel zu gelangen, zugesendet bekommt (was leider bei mir nicht der Fall war). In Sachen Sicherheit habe ich leider viel zu bemängeln, weil die Zimmer selber für jeden zugänglich sind. insofern macht es fast auch keinen Sinn ein rein weibliches Zimmer zu wählen, weil sowieso auch die Gäste anderer Zimmer zu jeder Zeit dieses Zimmer betreten kö...

the room wasn’t very clean and there were ants in the bathroom. The shower in the room wasn’t working and it was extremely loud all night because of the bars around the area (this should have been mentioned before)

Booked a room with an en-suite and the shower was not working for my stay. Room was clean, not any socializing opportunities with others in hostel outside of rooms. It looked like there was a camera in the corner of our room near the door. Location was good but would not stay here again.

Hostel sympa, plutôt propre, rapport qualité prix un peu élevé. Gros avantage à 3 minutes de la plage, désavantage la salle de bain n’est pas dans la chambre

Hostel is fine. Location is really good. But the place is not that clean, in my room there were hairs laying everywhere even after the cleaning lady came. Also the shower didnt work in the on suite bathroom. Overall oke hostel for one night but i would rather go to another next time.

Owner was super nice and helped me with everything I needed. Terrace is an amazing view too. It’s super close to everything which means it’s a bit loud as well but mainly just on the weekend.

Foi bom, não acho que apenas duas casas de banho sejam suficientes para tantas pessoas mas essas duas casa de banho estavam sempre limpas e mesmo sendo apenas duas dá para sobreviver. O quarto era bom, a cama era confortável, os panos eram limpos e o ambiente era ótimo e em momento algum me senti desprotegida mesmo indo sozinha. Recomendo a todos!!

Absolutely amazing, me and my friend loved it here, the lady at reception was so lovely and gave many recommendations, we felt super safe and met some great people there. It is also based in a perfect area really near the beach and is also slightly secluded

Very pleasant and welcoming. Easy to meet new people and go out in the town with if you’re travelling alone.

there was no worker there for the check-in when i came. I had to wait outside cause the code they texted me for the door didn’t work and they were not answering the phone. Someone from the cleaning team ended up opening me the door, but i couldn’t get access to my locker until later at night.

Que dire, Deuxième étape de mon raod trip. Surprise à mon arrivée,réception fermée ( compréhensible hors saison c’était au mois de novembre 2024 ) Un numéro de téléphone sur la porte 5 minutes après on m'a fourni le code d’accès de la porte. Du coup je me suis retrouvé seul dans l'auberge mais avec une vue magnifique en plein cœur de Portimao sur la plage. Merci a vous de l'auberge de m'avoir fourni le code d’accès.

Muito limpo e bem completo

Loved this place! It’s got everything a traveler needs: comfy beds, clean bathrooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. The common spaces are perfect for socializing, and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Calidad/precio excelente y súper bien ubicado! Personal muy amable

Cleanliness is poor, plus the showers are terribly designed therefore the bathroom floor is always wet. You’ll get a lot of noise from the clubs as they’re around the corner. The lockers are poor quality also, therefore you can open them without key.

Ficamos 4 dias em estadia com Sandy Bottoms. Foi uma estadia muito satisfatória, o hostel possui uma ótima localização, ambiente limpo, fácil acesso ao hostel na cidade e o rapaz da recepção foi muito prestativo quando acionado e sempre atendendo as necessidades possíveis e também fizemos ótimos amigos durante a nossa estadia. Voltaria me hospedar novamente tranquilamente.
