Het personeel was heel onbeschoft en het was een hele muffige plek. We voelden ons niet welkom, personeel was onbewust van de informatie op de site over leeftijden en er was onduidelijkheid over ouderlijke toestemming. Er waren vlekken op het bed en de douches waren heel onpraktisch.
We didn't feel welcome, staff were unaware of the information on the site about ages and there was ambiguity about parental consent.There were stains on the bed and the showers were very impractical.
Very cool concept, not really what we were expecting. Very university dorm-esque. The cigarettes were a bit much, the dishes were never quite clean and the shower curtains were molding. The staff was very nice however. It’s a bit far outside central Berlin so be prepared to travel 30-45 mins to see things.
If you like dirty bathroom floors, drugs and parties. This is the hostel for you.
Was very happy with everything: friendly staff, comfortable setting with a good community vibe and all amenities one can ask for in a hostel. The price was fine too. There is a good tram connection to the city center as well. Will come back if I am ever in need of a hostel in Berlin again.

Chill hostel, met some really nice people for the start of my trip. Beds are clean and comfortable. Staff and Willy the chicken are super chill and friendly 👌😀

Great hostel with a very friendly atmosphere. It could be a good idea to add a security lock to the door of the dorm though. Also some people were smoking weed in the common area when I was in the hostel, which is a lack of respect for people who don’t smoke. And some didn’t put their dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I can’t blame the staff for this but maybe people should be nicely reminded when arriving in the hostel that a friendly atmosphere does not mean you can do anything you wan...
Wonderfully charming hostel, it really makes you feel like your in a mini community for your stay! The staff were so brilliantly helpful and lovely, always making sure we were accommodated for and familiar with the extensive recreation available on site. The atmosphere is so nice, and you’ll find yourself beer in hand having a chat around the nightly campfire which manages to bring everyone together. My only gripe lies in there being no shower head, which is a tad annoying, but table tennis is...
The common areas are really nice, it feels like a country home. It is located a bit too far out from the places of interest, so not really recomended for people who want to experience more of the city itself. The bedroom was ok, although it seemed a bit improvised lacking much of the structure desirable for hostels. The bathrooms need an upgrade, it wasn't really comfortable to take showers there. The staff was polite and appropriate. In general, I had a good experience and it is worth the price

Curtains in bed would be great but it's still okay without. Overall I loved the place. Also more bigger lockers would be cool, cause my backbag didn't fit in the smaller one and the bigger ones were already taken. I loved the evenings when people cathered around the campfire and we spent time together. All in all, I will definitely come againa if I will have a chance. And for female travellers: I felt safe even though the dorm was mixed and I travelled alone.
Best hostel i've ever been to. Awesome staff, facilities and overall vibe, feels just like home, will definitely come back someday.
really nice place with great staff. You'll have to use public transit to get around unless you wanna walk A lot but it was easy to navigate. Would definitely recommend this place

Amazing place. Great people. Cozy, beautiful property. Owner is so welcoming and sweet. Super well kept kitchen (even had a dishwasher?!). Fire pit every night to hang out and meet people. A little far from the city center, but near a tram stop, and it’s kinda nice to stay in a quiet, chill area. Everyone there, including me, ended up extending their stay. Hope to return one day!
Wonderful hostel. I really enjoyed staying here because of the warm atmosphere and amazing decor. The kitchens are open 247, the people who work there are friendly, easy going and go out of their way to help, and the whole ethos of the place is beautiful. I only stayed two nights but would've loved to stay longer - will definitely come back.

by far the best hostel I've stayed at in my life :) it's such a vibe here and everyone I met has extended the stay at least once (like I did a couple of times). loved the staff. the bonfire to common room make it so easy to meet other travelers and I felt everyone I met here was on a similar vibe. loved it. I'll be back at some point.
The most amazing hostel, everyone is so friendly and social, I made some really great friends and had an incredible time. The hostel is so cozy and atmospheric there’s also a lovely herb/veggie garden, and the staff are always making sure the place is tidy. Sandino has the best vibes, you’ll definitely have a great time if you’re visiting

Very nice hostel with a nice atmosphere.
Super leuk hostel, met een heel fijne comunity. De sfeer was fijn en voelde ons meer dan welkom en veilig. De locatie is net iets buiten de drukke gebieden van Berlijn maar voor ons was dat perfect. Nog steeds goed bereikbaar Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het was schoon. Zeker aan te raden.
The atmosphere was nice and made us feel more than welcome and safe. the location is just a little outside the busy areas of Berlin but for us that was perfect. still well accessible staff was friendly and helpful and it was clean.
Best hostel I have ever stayed in. Sandino has a very different atmosphere than most hostels and it is amazing. Would highly recommend staying here. All travellers that come to sandino are very social and great people if that’s what you are looking for.

A bit far from the centre of Berlin but a really nice place to chill out and meet other people
