Cubik Rooms

No conforme! Puerta de ingresos dormitorio dañada lo que no permitía cerrar la puerta y evitar el ruido exterior de la cocina. La puertas de las Capsulas hacen mucho ruido. Durante la madrugada el calor se siente dentro de las Capsulas ya que no tienen sistema suficiente de oxigenación. La sillas del comedor están todas flojas. El agua de las duchas está fría si vario la se bañaron antes.

They don't send the check-in after making the reservation, but when you're in front of the door, so you have to wait outside for 40 minutes for the process. Then the code doesn't work, and you have to wait longer. The common area is uncomfortable. There is a cooking area, but nothing to cook with. The was no toilet paper on both bathrooms. When you ask the chat a question, it can take over 4 hours for a response. Had to make extra costs because of it.

Overall, decent experience, but the bedroom door code changed without notice one of the nights and I got locked out for a while -- eventually resolved over Whatsapp, but with no staff on-site, not ideal. The bed with a full door was great, but wifi/data did not really work with the door closed, so prepare for that. Great location, but for the price, these issues are worth noting.

Cubik rooms is great if you need a cheap, private place to sleep in great location in Madrid. That is all it is and it does it very well. Free towel, great bathrooms/showers, cosy bed, and my cube was perfect temperature all night - I had such a great sleep that I almost slept in past checkout time!

I'm giving a positive review because it's a really nice place to stay. It's close to Plaza de España - you can even walk there! There are small things (not major things) that I'd change. The cubes were like ovens! I think they might be easier to sleep in when it's cooler weather or winter. The second thing was the check-in process. It should be done before you arrive. I didn't like standing outside in 37C heat having to still complete signing process after I booked the room 2 months ...
