   We had never travelled with kids anywhere outside Hyderabad. Asmita is a good kid , but amogh is always a workout. There is never a quiet moment with him - not unless he's in the bathroom , sleeping or I am at office 😂. With his stomach being majorly upset 2 days before travel , I was even more skeptical, but my Doc gave me the go ahead and we decided to endure the multiple diaper Changes. Slowly but surely on the path of recovery , we reached Jaipur - with no uneventful incidents along the way , till the hotel. Umaid bhawan is a heritage home converted to a boutique hotel 25 years ago. It belonged to a family whose generations have served in the defence forces.... This was a family home for about 80 odd years before being converted to a hotel. It has about 30-35 rooms, with a pool , hot water for atleast half a day if not more and all other amenities for a decent stay if not luxurious. View from the room depend on which room you are in . Mine had the rooftops of the homes behind us There have been changes as time progresses, to this place - modern amenities and comforts being added , rooms being upgraded but it still has a very homely kind of essence. The service as warm as it can be from folks probably not having a degree in hospitality. Foods a bit oily but very very good otherwise. Breakfast spread is decent and of you need to carry stuff for your kids, they don't complain if we were to take stuff to the room. The decor is very nice . It's homely , the workmanship is brilliant , artwork very crisp. My room looks like a princely bedroom, albeit small, when I see other rooms. The location is great. Mostly in a upmarket residential area , but has connectivity to almost every mode of transport. A few ATMs 200 feet away (SBI, HDFC )... All in all , my decision of not moving to @tridentjaipur and staying at @hotelumaidbhawan paid off big time. Anyone travelling to Jaipur , consider this place. Reviews on most sites are personal/relative and they may or may not be applicable to you. I had a very good experience. I hope you do too. Book from the hotels site for good deals.

   Word "Royal" and "Heritage" in it's name gave me the feeling of great hospitality but these people don't know the meaning of hospitality or may be don't believe in it especially for Indians...they do try to flatter foreigners to get some good reviews. The property is not a heritage property, just a fake one. Food is bad.

   Supposed to be 4 star but the guys were in chappals. Horrible rooms , smelling of dampness and they were only looking at taking the whole stay amount at the checkin. We didn't stay as the rooms in pics on the net are photoshoped. Be careful to go there. The rating and reviews on various websites are fake.

   First of all, the interors are poor taste and tacky, and cheap looking. The rooms were so noisy from the restaurants that we hardly got any sleep, so we ended up changing the hotel after 1 night, although we had paid for 3 nights. Obviously they wouldn’t refund or apologize for the discomfort, so terrible experience, and please don’t be fooled by the fake reviews!

    客室が凄く綺麗で、ルームサービスの料理も出来立てで、凄く美味しくスタッフの方もすごく親切でした。細道を少し進んだところなので周りもとても静かなので夜もゆっくり寝られました。
