Llegue a las 3am, nadie me abrió, y me quede afuera

We booked on hostelworld, but when we arrived at the property we were told the cost was more than had been advertised. Even after showing the booking confirmation (and cost!) we were told to pay the higher fee or find somewhere else to stay. Most of our interactions were with one volunteer, who was high the entire time. Everything became a painful struggle in which we had to tell him how to do his job! The one positive was the housekeeper, who seemed to keep the place running alone

There was no running water in the morning or evening (when people need it most), the room smelled horrible and were full of remains of food and trask.

I booked the night before and tried to ring up and email. I didn’t get any responses. I turned up and pressed the bell but I couldn’t get in so I was stranded unfortunately. Perhaps it’s a decent place if you get in early, but I would make sure you get confirmation that you are able to stay first. I wasn’t given a PIN code to get in or anything. If there was a system that would make it easy to check in then it would be better.

I think it was the worst hostel on my trip. Those three days I stayed there, there was always a water issue. Especially one night, there was no water until the next morning at 10am which means no shower and no toilet!! The staff wasn't also helpful and didn't even try to find a solution for the problem. The hostel only offers a wool blanket which I believe they never wash.. The only positive point of this hostel is the location.

Die Betten hatten eine Plastikfolie unter dem Leintuch, Vorhänge gab es zwar, aber sie waren durchsichtig, also keine wirkliche Privatsphäre, wenn mehr Leute da wären. Im Aufenthaltsraum standen zwei Sofas – eins war so abgenutzt, dass man sich kaum draufsetzen wollte, und das andere war sogar durchgebrochen. Leider rochen die Duschen...

Would not stay here again! Showers flooded every time with no where to hang anything! Zero other guests. Mattress wrapped in plastic so very uncomfortable .

Other than the bedroom and bathroom, there are no closed doors to this 1st floor balcony hostel. The entrance from the street is a gate, you can hear cars, bars, music until 2am. The showers were fine but the toilet stopped filling with water and we were unable to use it after day 1 and we had paid extra for the private en suite. The rooftop is okay for some sun. The location is the only benefit of this hostel. I wouldn't recommend it if you need to sleep

Leider hatten wir mehrfach kein Wasser in dem Hostel, sowohl über Nacht als auch tagsüber. Die Lage ist allerdings super, direkt im historischen Zentrum

Room was fine. No running water in the morning. So no shower. I would not recommend this hostel.

Muy buen Lugar

Great location very close to the centre, lots and lots of great restaurants nearby and coffee opposite is best I’ve ever had! Fabulous bakery on the same road Bakery Cafe only 5 minutes away. Obviously it’s a budget hotel so don’t expect A1 conditions, ie one of the curtains was hanging off and the shower was great but didn’t drain away so by the time I’d finished I was ankle deep in water! For me it was clean enough and comfortable, so yes I would go there again.

Great stay! the hostel is clean, comfortable, and very well located. the staff is friendly and always willing to help, I felt safe and welcome during my stay! :D

Thanks Luis and all the VeeYuu staff, i felt really confortable at this place is really Nice for the price you pay, i think its really worth it! Its a historical place with a nice location if you are trying to look up the most important places in Puebla -DBD

I loved the atmosphere here! The common areas and the terrace are great for relaxing. It’s a charming colonial building that’s close to all the main sights. Safe, clean, and welcoming.

Nous avions malheureusement la chambre au-dessus du bar, nous n’avons pas pu dormir avant 2:00 pm… La rue est très passante et si vous souhaitez de la tranquillité, je vous ne le recommande pas. Néanmoins la chambre est grande et spacieuse.

It's not as bad as I expected. The dormitory is okay and I slept well. But they have pproblems with water and the internet is really bad. For a night okay.

Is what it is. Good location, just an empty hostel with lots of road noise.

A wonderful place to stay! This place is in a perfect location to get around and explore Puebla! The staff are really helpful and the property is clean. It doesn’t have your normal hostel vibe, so if you’re looking to socialise or party, this is not the place. I stayed in a private room and it was a nice quiet stay and a good way to end my trip after so many social hostels. I would definitely recommend for couples, or friends traveling together, or if you’re happy to do your own thing...

Del tiempo que estuve, solamente hasta el final, hubo una persona en recepción, escribí mensajes para comentar que no había agua para bañarme y nadie contestó. En el momento en el que me hospedó, se hospedaron unos chicos y estuvieron gritando durante la noche, salí a pedir que hablaran más bajo (porque no había nadie en recepción que pudiera regular eso), eran la 1:30 de la madrugada cuando me dirigí a los cuidadores de los chicos para que finalmente nos dejaran descansar. Hostel in a very nice old house right in the city center. Not much going on. We had the room with windows facing the busy street, the windows were not blocking the noise, so it was a very noisy room.

Hostel très sympa en plein centre! Calme et chambre privée spacieuse avec sdb. Cuisine plutôt bien équipée en revanche très peu de tables pour pouvoir manger et manque de lumière le soir pour dîner.

Was a good place for 2 nights for the price!! The kitchen was not equipped well tho. The beds don’t have curtains but they are comfy. It didn’t have a vibe but cool living room to chill. If you want a quiet hostel to be in your bubble it’s the place :)

Très joli endroit, très propre, très bien situé et personnel très accueillant. Le lieu est joli avec son patio, sans parler de la terrasse sur le toit, avec une belle vue lors du coucher de soleil ! Le petit resto Tan Tan dans la cour de l'hostel est extra, c'est Très bon, ça fait un peu une pause "européenne" dans le style des tapas surtout (pas goûté le reste), et personnel tellement choupiiiii !!

El personal es bastante amigable, apoyan en cada duda que se presenta. Considero que es un lugar agradable y tranquilo en el cual cualquiera se puede hospedar y relajarse.
