+ No mucho

- A las 11:00 pm ya dormidos recibieron un bus lleno de personas, todos hicieron ruido alto hasta el punto de despertar a mi hijo de 10 meses 2 veces. A la hora de hacer la observación a la persona de recepción me dijo que no podía hacer nada, que no era adivino y hasta siento que se burló de mí cuando le estaba haciendo el reclamo por qué no se podía dormir/descansar me dice en tono burlesco “que descans”. Una pésima experiencia. Debo agregar que en dos ocasiones trataron de abrí mi habitación con llave, fue otro motivo de reclamo, la persona de recepción dice que él no era adivino para saber si estaba ocupada o no. Le consulté que si no tenía control de las habitaciones ya ocupadas y respondió que no era adivino.

- El personal nunca nos miró a la cara, nunca nos sonrió, nunca respondió a nuestros correos ni a nuestras solicitudes. La habitación tiene una ventana que no se abre; si eres claustrofóbico como yo, ¡no te alojes ahí! Es muy ruidoso porque las habitaciones dan al aparcamiento de la planta baja. Recomendado solo para quienes no quieran dormir o tomen somníferos fuertes.

+ The food at the hotel’s restaurant was decent. Friendly staff.

- The bed sheets and towels, once white, were grey and washed out with yellow spots, as they were 10 years old. The pillows were old and lumpy matching the worn-up sheets and towels. No hot water, no warm water either.

- La habitación estaba en muy malas condiciones, sucia, con mal olor, sábanas deterioradas, las toallas fueron blancas en algún momento pero daba asco secarse con ellas

- It was really tired. First room we asked to relocate from because the ceiling was leaking in the bathroom and a spare toilet roll on the toilet was soaking wet and so was the floor. Plus the bathroom smelt. Second room was basic but fine. But the toilet really smelt.

+ Location was great Carpark was good as in secured area Staff were friendly although when we arrived we felt we could have had a better welcome by the lady at reception. Breakfast was nice (paid separately as it was not included in the price we paid for the room)

- We picked this hotel as many reviews said that it was basic but clean. Unfortunately our room felt like it needed some elbows grease, mainly around the floor. But in need of rescue was definitely the toilet bowl that had not been cleaned outside. The shower was not very appealing either with cracked and dirty tiles, overhead shower which was coming off the ceiling had like black mould on it, the toilet door was filthy. The towels were yellowish/greyish and stained and so the pillows’ cases and they gave the impression that they were not clean. Also the door lock had been changed but the door looked like it could not locked properly, not to mention that the wood around the lock was all chipped and cracked and looked like someone had tried to break into the room. There was no hot water so we had to take a cold shower and the WiFi in the room wasn’t working which was quite frustrating because we needed to make online reservations for our excursions. We weee only able to connect to the WiFi if going into the restaurant area.

+ Good place to stay after hiking to Cerro Pelado. Good air conditioning. Nice place to have breakfast.

+ Don’t expect too much for the price of this room in Canas: Tiny room with dated interior. Hard but comfortable mattresses. Surprisingly good toilet paper! Efficient breakfast buffet, safe off-street parking. Did we sleep? Yes! Two whole nights!

- Smelly pillows, yellowish sheets. Noisy upper neighbours. No hot shower.

+ Dinner was very good. Excellent lattes. TheBritt coffee brand excellent. Helpful , positive staff. Tidy and clean property.

- Sadly , traffic noise and neighbours watching tv very loudly, late at night. Difficult to stay asleep.

+ El televisor no funcionaba ,las habitaciones son muy pequeñas ,los tomas mal ubicados y en los baños no hay si nececitas secarte el pelo no hay ni un espejo solo en el baño ,la ubicacion es exelente pero le falta demaciado a las habitaciones.

- Shower was missing the shower head.

+ Not too far from the highway which helped as we were passing through to Liberia and stayed 1 night. We checked in later around 11.00pm and the staff were helpful and accommodating.

- It was passable, we stayed 1 night and it was bearable as we were passing through to Liberia. There was a large gap underneath the door which let in some large insects (the hotel room was clean).
