One of the worst hostels I've stayed in and I've been to many countries. When I stripped the bed which is requested when you leave there was a huge stain on the mattress. The pods are plastic. No sound barrier. You could hear noises all night long. Lockers are too small. Luggage storage is out in the open. Would not stay here again.

Well, reading the other reviews I thought that this would fit for a quick travel to Washington, DC. However, when I got there I couldn’t self check-in because there was an error. So I waited at the front desk for 40 MINUTES before someone actually came to assist me. I messaged them on the app they use, and they didn’t even reply. Eventually the person at the front desk came. I was unable to access the app needed to enter the property and my room, and, despite multiple calls to the phone number listed, I got no response. Ended up staying somewhere else, but this was an unnecessary stress on my trip and a disappointment.

Total peasant experience. Lacks basic amenities that most hostels have-no kitchen equipment (bowls, utensils, stove,etc) , yet manage to be quite expensive. Nowhere to store luggage or food. No staff for check in and are absent generally. Pod room is crowded and there isn't an inch of floor space that isn't covered with someone's things. The pods themselves are cheaply constructed and dirty and stuffy. Power outlets and USB plugs don't work inside the pod. Lots of loud obnoxious people too.

It is the single worst Hostel I’ve been to. Dirty, not delivering on promises and uncomfortable. It is an audacity to charge such rates for this.

Die Lage ist super. Sehr zentral. Das Zimmer war erst nicht gereinigt worden (Haare auf dem Bett+ Toilette mit Spuren), beim zweiten Mal war es zwar besser, aber immer noch nur oberflächlich sauber. Not staff in the desk 24/7. The sink in this hostel was the dirtiest one I have seen in a hostel and the showers are located in the basement. The capsules are more private but also noisy and have fake buttons that doesn't work, doesn't have normal outlets, just a USB and type C that didn't work. The lockers are super small not even my personal item fitted in it so I didn't use it.

Never staying at this hostel again! I've been staying in hostels for 7 years now, been to over 40 at least and this hostel was a literal design and operational nightmare. I picked this hostel because I was in town for the People's March and it was the cheapest one with free cancellation during the weekend (yet still $100 per night for a pod! Great place to stay. I was in a private room and it was perfect for what I needed, especially for the price. Honestly over than some hotels I’ve stayed in. Location around the corner from the metro is invaluable too.

I stayed in a private room. The room was good and the facilities were good as well. There was many storing place. I do think that there is no value for money however for this room. Location is very good.

Solid night’s sleep during my walk across America. Super comfy bed!

This hostel is in a prime location, just around the corner from U street Metro Station. All the main sights are just minutes away on the train. Additionally the surrounding neighborhood has grocery stores, minimarts, and many clubs. I was visiting for a show at the 9:30 club which was a 9 minute walk from the hostel. Extremely convenient location and clean facilities and amenities. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The Hostel was perfect for me. The location was great. I was able to get from and to Reagan International on the metro. I was able to walk to the National Mall to wander the museums and memorials. There was a grocery store and restaurants within a short walking distance. The only down side was that the showers are not located on the same floor as my pod but that was manageable.

Very Central, safe, and modern!!

Be aware this is a self check-in property. There is no one to assist you from 1-6pm in case you have issues with check-in (like me). They say there’s support through the goki app, but you’ll only get a response several hours later. When on site, staff was very helpful though. I had a private ensuite room and it was clean and ok sized.

This hostel was fine. The pods were a bit dingy and one air vent didn’t work. The reception is not staffed from 1-6 pm, leaving multiple people waiting in the lobby trying to check in and asking other guests for help. The lockers are not large enough to fit a bag. However, the location is great and close to tons. The coffee shop is also cute with some yummy drinks

The bed was comfy. The capsule was a little beaten up (some of the hooks were broken and one of the fans didn't work), but it was still a comfortable and relatively private place to sleep. The lockers were small, but I didn't feel like my stuff that I left out was unsafe. My biggest issue was the complete lack of hot water, so I wasn't able to shower and talking to other guests, this seemed like an ongoing problem. Great location. Love the coffee shop and proximity to the metro and food options.

Great location - a nice walk to the convention center. My room was very clean and comfortable. I had a private room with bathroom, which was convenient.

Excellent experience. The place is ok. The location amazing. The capsules (beds) are amazings, very confortable.

This is a great place to stay! The property is in a safe location with the metro station not even a 5 minute walk from the hostel. The only things that weren’t great about the place was that the beds were decently hard in my opinion, the air vents in the capsule I was in didn’t bring in much air which led to a hotter than normal night, but still very manageable. A heads up to those driving: if you arrive later in the night on a weekend you will probably need to park a few blocks down.

Great cafe and staff. Carolyn took great care of me. The location is wonderful too; right by Metro with bikeshare & pharmacy across the street. 1 block from hopping 14th streets and a quick Lime ride to downtown. This is not a boutique hostel - it's a bit funky - a work in progress - worth the price.

Decent place to stay. My pod's charging outlets did not work and air flow was weak/non-existent.

Stayed 4 nights and found the property really good. The location is both less tthan one minute from the metro and the CapitalBikeshare rank. I used both easily.
