Hu Roma Camping in Town

Room wasn’t clean. Bed cover was dirty and full of bed bugs. Sleeping one night there was enough to enjoy rome itchy skin. When we told the reception about it, they were friendly and promised to clean the room, but they did NOTHING. I am disappointed.

This is not what HU stands for, we been to many HU places but this… First we start to wait 30-40 min in a line to get our key. They want to charge a wrong price for our stay, after complaining many times we got our refund. Well the home was shaky, broken, smells, and no hot water at all. We complain about it many times but the where don’t care at all, look at the pictures. We even had a small baby with us, due the health concerns and all, the did nothing. Well we end up with respiratory infections afterwards. So be aware of the home. Safety was like nothing, random people come by and breaking stuff and sell all kind of stuff in there. The reception will not help us at all, we have pictures and videos. By the way, there is bed bugs.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. I had high expectations for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and distressing. Firstly, my room was infested with bedbugs. I discovered them in the mattress and, as a result, I am now covered in painful and itchy bites. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness standards in your establishment. Secondly, the noise levels during the day were intolerable. Workers were constantly mowing the lawn or cutting trees, creating an environment far from relaxing. Even the pool area, which was clearly marked as a quiet zone, had loud music playing regularly. To make matters worse, a pair of sunglasses worth €1000 were stolen from me during my stay. I want to be very clear — they were not lost, but stolen. I reported the theft to the police, and I understand that an investigation is ongoing. However, what is most disappointing is the complete lack of interest or assistance from your hotel staff in all of the above situations. At no point did anyone offer help, compensation, or even a proper apology. This stay has caused me stress, discomfort, and financial loss — far from the rest and relaxation I was expecting. I kindly request a full refund for my stay. I trust you will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and respond promptly.

Letti pieni di cimici. Eravamo con altri amici che alloggiavano in altre casette. Noi ci siamo accorti la notte e siamo scappati cercando un'albergo nelle vicinanze. La famiglia che era con noi si è svegliata con il corpo pieno di ponfi rossi e pruriginosi e sono dovuti scappare in ospedale, dove sono stati diagnosticati morsi di cimici da letto. Al loro rientro la stanza era stata letteralmente smontata e il loro vestiti gettati a terra, pestati e bagnati. Una vergogna. Esperienza da dimenticare.

The non availability of hot water in shower and bed bugs

Stayed in a bungalow for 5 days. (My first bed bugs experience.. sigh) Room: - as mentioned above, my first bed bugs experience.. what more do I need to say. - shower stall was initially clogged on the first day I arrived. After 5 min of shower, the water flooded everywhere outside the bathroom. Poor maintenance. Service: - I cleaned up the room MYSELF for the bungalow's poor maintenance. Angry now that I think about it. Staff should have cleaned it, given me new clean towels AFTER everything was cleaned properly. I am still grateful that the shower stall was fixed the next day. (As it should be to tbh..) No issues after that. - they do not maintain the area while you are here. They do not empty the garbage basket and we got a storm of bugs near the end of the trip. Ugh!! Never had these bad experiences while traveling!! - no new towels are given throughout the stay. Reminder I stayed for 5 days. (The new towels I got on my first day, having to wipe the entire area out due to the flooding, do NOT count. I had to use it to wipe the floors, and I am NOT wiping my body with that). And plus, one of them had a small area with mud on it, so what the heck... is it even clean? (To be fair, I think it was.. but it was raining on the first day so I'm guessing the person who gave me the towels had some dirt on his hand and that got on it but again, I'm not wiping my body with muddy dirt on the towel). So, really, I had one medium-sized towel to use for the entire 5 days. Ugh! Never had so many disgusting Ughs during a single stay. I really want to request a refund. Even partially. Why do I have to wipe down and clean up for the flooded floors when it was their poor maintenance in the first place? Location: - quite a distance from the center. Buses are super unreliable.. but it is a tradeoff for the price

hatten bettwanzen in unserer unterkunft ! andere gäste haben das auch berichtet und erzählt, dass sie bei der rezeption auf gleichgültigkeit stoßen mussten. schade.

Cependant à la suite de notre séjour, mon conjoint et moi-même sommes ressortis avec une éruption cutanée (type piqûre d’acariens ou de punaises de lit). Il semblerait que la literie présente donc un problème.

Wo fange ich an??? 1. Sehr unhygienische Bungalows (Bettwanzen) 2. Schlechtes essen 3. Küche kaum ausgestattet 4. Dusche war nicht sauber und funktionierte nicht richtig 5. Unfreundliches Personal 6. Extrem unbequeme betten Nach meinem Aufenthalt im camp kann ich sagen, dass ich es niemandem empfehle dort Urlaub oder anderes zu machen. Als ich zuhause ankam war ich übersäht mit Flohbissen und Mückenstichen. Kochen konnte man dort kaum aufgrund der spartanischen Ausstattung der Küche. Etc. (Das einzig Gute am Camp ist der Preis man darf nicht vergessen das, dass die Hauptstadt von Italien ist.) Fazit: Wenn man 0 Sterne geben könnte würde ich es gerne tun. Absolut keine Empfehlung.

Die Hütten waren verdreckt und teilweise angeschimmelt. Ich wollte duschen und hatte auf einmal die ganze Duschgarnitur in der Hand… Mehrere aus meinen Bunglow hatten hatten nach dem Besuch Bettwanzenbisse und das Frühstück ist jetzt auch nicht das beste… Ich kann es nicht weiterempfehlen. Eigentlich hat es keinen Stern verdient👎🏼👎🏼

Stay away. Bungalows are very dirty! Mold, spider webs and even BED BUGS! Also, the beds shake like an earthquake whenever someone walks in the bungalows nearby

La experiencia más agridulce de mi vida, las instalaciones están bien, el problema viene cuando te vas fijando en detalles como: Irte a duchar y que la ducha tenga cal, que al día siguiente uno de los trabajadores abra la puerta sin llamar para limpiar la habitación (cosa que hacen supuestamente cuando se van los clientes, o sea, que no estaba limpia de los anteriores) y luego empezamos a notar picaduras, ¡había chinches! Nos dan otra habitación, le decimos que tenemos que lavar toda la ropa y nos dicen que vale, (la lavandería no es gratis ni barata, así que encima de que tenemos chinches y picaduras por todo el cuerpo, tenemos que pagar 5€ por la lavadora más 4 por la secadora y eso sin contar que no seca bien después de 35 minutos sacando) Total dos lavadoras, dos secadoras, picaduras y 18€ menos después, me voy a dormir ahora (casi las 2 de la madrugada). La verdad, HORRIBLE. Ah! El desayuno es escaso y nada variado, pero espérarte que que si quieres aumentar el desayuno, por una Magdalena y croisant te cobran 13€!y la piscina cierra a las 6/18h.

There were bed bugs. I left with quite a few bites.

Terrible hostel! I stayed there whilst on my travels around Europe and the bed I slept in covered me in bed bug bites. I stayed in the bungalow and woke up in agony from itching all night. I emailed and phoned the hostel as I had to get an early flight didn’t have time to go to reception and explain what had happened. I have had no response to my email and when I phoned the worker took no responsibility and said I’d have to wait for an emailed response. Disgusting!! The location of the hostel also about 20 mins away from the main attractions in Rome which costs roughly €25 per taxi ride. Would NOT recommend staying here.

Bed bugs but nice environment in general. Clean toilets as well.

Une étoile pour la piscine et le restaurant qui sont les seuls points positifs de ce camping " 4 étoiles ". Nous avions réservés pour une semaine dans une tente individuelle déjà montée + emplacement voiture. Un lit une personne et un lit superposé. A notre arrivé, paiement de la taxe de séjour et l'hôtesse nous demande de laisser la voiture au parking devant la réception. Les logements se trouvent deux étages plus haut... Autorisation donnée par une autre hôtesse de stationner la voiture à proximité des tentes après mon questionnement insistant. La première hôtesse prétendait que le parking était saturé... Il était vide ! Après deux nuits passées, nous découvrons un essaim de guêpe sur la structure de la tente : Pas de problème, la réception nous change de tente. C'est la que l'enfer commence, nous avons la joie de nous faire de nouveaux amis : Des punaises de lits siégeaient déjà dans cette deuxième tente ! Résultat : d'innombrables piqûres, nuit horrible, démangeaisons persistantes pendant une dizaines de jours, obligations de laver tout le linge au camping pour ne pas ramener de punaises chez nous (12€ pour trois lave linge, 4€ pour un sèche linge laissant le linge humide 👍). La réception se fiche cordialement des punaises de lit. Il m'a été dis que la présence d'insectes est normale car " c'est du camping", changement de tente ou remboursement des jours restant si on veut partir. Aucune considération alors que nous n'étions pas les seuls, plusieurs autres couples de voyageurs ont étés victimes des punaises. Désintérêt total de la part des responsable, aucun geste commerciale (sauf proposition d'une bouteille de vin). Pour finir, au check out, l'hôtesse m'informe que j'ai 3H de retard. Il était 13H. La première fois, la réception m'a dit 8H, puis s'est ravisé et m'a annoncé 14H. Au final, c'était 10H. Fort heureusement, pas de paiement supplémentaire compte tenu que l'erreur vient de la réception. Bruyant à cause du périphérique juste à côté. Multilingue. CB ok. (Ne rentre pas en compte dans la note mais : - Centre commercial très utile juste en face du camping. - arrêt de bus à l'entrée du camping permettant de rejoindre le métro et d'être en plein coeur de rome en 30mns. - Pas d'horaires de bus dans rome, la fréquence est très aléatoire !)
