WARNING: BED BUGS, DIRTY LINENS AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. BEWARE SOLO FEMALE TRAVELERS! i came here after a long hike in samaria gorge only to find that the sheets were stained brown, there were bedbug egg casings in the mattress, and there was hair all over the mattress. when i spoke to the owner about this he was very rude, told me there was no other room to stay in. as i didn’t want to risk my health and safety by staying in this dirty room, this left me without a room, alone at 12am in heraklion as a solo female traveler. when i told the owner that this made me feel unsafe he ignored me and walked away. horrible experience, i do not recommend to anyone!
