+ They cancelled my reservation on arrival and charged the FULL AMOUNT which was preposterous for the hostel. I took a high quality hotel the next for less. They motivated it by the fact that I owed them 6$ from the previous day which I promised to bring the next day! The staff is arrogant, sarcastic and extremely transphobic. I’ve been living as man for 20 years and have. long beard, yet they deliberately misgendered through and used feminising language. This was the real motivation behind the refusal of stay on November 7. The miserable 6$ was just a convenient excuse. I’m new to Montréal, I don’t know the city. I spent that bitterly cold night in the street. They’re virtuous about 6$, yet they charged (=stole) 155$ full fee for the cancelled stay which I at first didn’t even realized.

- 침구에는 다른 사람 머리카락이 나오고 교체해준 타월에는 지독한 냄새와 얼룩이 있었어요 복도 방음이 전혀 되지않아 발소리 말소리 그대로 다 들려서 귀마개 필수입니다. 샤워호스 스타일이 아닌 부착형이라 불편했어요

- Tuve un problema y el personal no lo supo resolver. Sin querer, reservé una habitación femenina. Me decían que la única manera era reservar otra habitación. Es decir, pagar dos veces por una camas. Le echaban la culpa a Booking.

+ Je me grattais toute la nuit, ainsi que nettoyé plein de petites "billes" noires en dessous du lit, de la commode et du frigo.. Jai aussi vu des bibites sur le matelas que j'ai désinfecté en arrivant la première nuit..c'est dégueulasse..
- Salubrité et propreté..ça m'a couté 30$ de lavage a l'eau chaude revenu chez moi.. Et meme dans la douche, en me lavant, je voyais plein de trucs noirs tomber au sol.

+ I got a single room with own bathroom. It was horrible. I have never stayed in something so bad. Window blinds old and half broken, bed was tiny and it stunk. Ugly dusty black lamp stuck out of the wall right above my pillow, tiny toilet with shower I could barely fit in. Breakfast was just bagels with jam and peanut butter, and some milk with cereal. The price was very high for what it was. We know Montreal is expensive but this should have cost 1/4 of what they charge. It was far less that decent.

- i wasn't even allowed inside the property because when showing my government ID i was told it was fake even when my credit card matched the name the man workinh didn't want to let me in and rather refunded me. and because it was already 11 pm i had no other place to go. he said he would recommend me other places to go that would not even require ID but just told me leave since i was very upset. Becareful if you are a different race because they may assume the worst

Very nice hostel. Close to Metro, quiet neighborhood, up to date facilities. I would definitely recommend & stay here again on my next trip to Montreal.
One if the best hostels I have lived in. Super friendly environment, clean rooms, washrooms, the breakfast could be a little bit improved, otherwise everything is amazing.
Une chouette auberge, bien située, avec un personnel accueillant et disponible. La chambre occupée ( 6 lits femme) était propre, confortable. Des activités sont proposées à l'auberge et peuvent aider à créer du lien, ou simplement à découvrir la ville autrement que seul(e).
A nice hostel, well located, with a welcoming and available staff. the occupied room (6 beds femme) was clean, comfortable. activities are offered at the hostel and can help create a bond, or simply discover the city in a different way than alone.

Super, I would recommend it 100%
We knew it’s a hostel but booked a private room for ability to sleep. Unfortunately, our room was opposite two large dorm rooms. There was shouting, screaming, loud music and running in the hallways until 2am. We asked reception multiple times to help out as the quiet policy starts at 11pm. The room wasn’t the cleanest/ found hairs in the bed. The luggage storage room is unorganised and minimal security, there’s no tag/ID system so you could take any bag if you wanted.
Loved my stay here! Hostel is clean and modern, has nice and clean kitchen area as well as work spaces and loads of activities. Staff and volunteers very kind and helpful, overall social vibe and also enjoyed the free breakfast. Area is nice as well, grocery store super close by and you can explore the city if you dont mind walkin a bit. Would definitely stay again!!

Excellent location near Metro 2. Check in process is quick. You can leave your bags before check. Clean and friendly staff.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in, great value in a great location. Staff were super helpful and the co working spaces were really nice.
Absolutely loved my stay here! So wholesome and welcoming, the kitchen / social area is warm and cosy. Friendly volunteers, great free breakfast, comfy beds and clean rooms, fun activities each day! Highly recommend.
El personal que trabaja ahí son muy amables y amigables, siempre dispuestos a ayudarte. El ambiente es increíble!

Great place. Clean and comfortable and good atmosphere. Breakfast was quite extensive with fresh fruit and cream cheese with the bagels. Staff was also helpful.
