My laptop, phone and other belongings were STOLEN from inside the locker. Locker in dorm can be opened with a screwdriver or easily broken by hand. Central location, breakfast included, hot shower.
The staff is extremely friendly and they are really helpful with organising tours. The rooftop bar is very nice too. The room was sadly not clean (especially bathroom) and it had a very moldy smell in the air.
Cuartos sucios, personas de fuera entrando y saliendo por las escaleras en frente del cuarto sin control y con ruido en las escaleras para ir al bar, música a tope que se oía del cuarto y olor muy fuerte a fritura en el cuarto a la noche que venía de la cocina del primer piso (estaba en el cuarto piso…). Tuve que hacer el checkout a la mitad de la noche y encontrar otro lugar porque entendí que no iba a dormir nada. La chica del hostel fue muy simpática y aceptó cancelar la reserva.
Dirty rooms, people from outside coming in and out of the stairs in front of the room uncontrolled and with noise on the stairs to go to the bar, loud music that could be heard from the room and very strong frying smell in the room at night coming from the kitchen on the first floor (I was on the fourth floor...).

Leider wurde uns im privaten Zimmer $200 gestohlen. Das Personal spielte den Vorfall herunter und unterstellte uns, das Geld sei im Bus verschwunden. Obwohl Handwerker und Putzfrau im fraglichen Zeitraum im Zimmer waren, gab es keine ernsthafte Aufklärung. Die Polizei wurde gerufen, doch wir blieben allein. Statt Entschuldigung nur Erlass der 12 % Kreditkartengebühr. Zudem war eine im Hostel gebuchte Tour kürzer und ohne Lunch. Zimmer: hell, laut, Schimmel in der Dusche. Nicht empfehlensw...
Unfortunately, $200 was stolen from our private room. The staff played down the incident and suggested to us that the money had disappeared in the bus. Although Handwerker and Putzfrau were in the room during the fragile period, there was no serious investigation. The police were called, but we were left alone. Unfortunately we were shocked when we arrived, our room was more than dirty! The floor and the bathroom seemed never cleaned for months and in the beds were black hairs everywhere. We booked because of all the positive reviews, and can not understand how the hostel received them. The staff was nice, breakfast was ok and the rooftop was also nice (and cleaner) but the room was a shocker. It has been one of the dirtiest and oldest we ever experienced and could not recommend this place.
Staff was really nice, but I wouldn’t recommend. Very outdated and old. Bathrooms were completely run down and a lot of the furniture was damaged. Atmosphere wasn’t the greatest either.
Es el peor hotel donde he ido no lo recomiendo mala atención las personas que trabajan es un groseras, sí no se los recomiendo porque no son ordenados los las habitaciones es lo peor que he visto y en sí no es el peor lugar donde he estado
It's the worst hotel I've ever been to I don't recommend it bad attention the people who work there are rude, yes I don't recommend them because they're not neat the rooms are the worst I've ever seen and in itself it's not the worst place I've been
I stayed at this hostel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They also can book some activities for you. The rooftop is highlight: a beautiful space with great view. However, the hostel is in need of renovation. The extractor fan in the restaurant wasn’t working, which meant the whole hostel smelled like hamburgers. The dorms and bathrooms are also quite outdated and not very clean, which made the stay less comfortable.

My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The facilities were clean and well maintained, the staff was friendly and attentive at all times, and the location was very convenient for getting around the area. The service was efficient, and the room was comfortable and quiet. Overall, it was a great experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Baños.
Decent hostel. Nice rooftop. Friendly staff. David was super helpful with booking tours for us.

Can’t rate this hostel highly enough, mainly because of the staff. They went above and beyond, all of them. I was working as a digital nomad and they made sure I had a solid place to work, came to check if I needed coffee or food, were very flexible with me extending my stay, helped me book my buses to leave, and way more. The bar staff are amazing too, they are a big part of why the hostel are amazing. The food is amazing, the kitchen staff too. I’ve never had staff treat me better at a hos...
La estadìa en este hostel fue muy bien. La habitación toda para mi solita,el desayuno buenisimo, la ubicación muy céntrico y obviamente el personal maravilloso, amigable y al mismo tiempo profesional. Regresaría a ojos cerrados.
The whole room for me alone, the good breakfast, the very central location and obviously the wonderful staff, friendly and at the same time professional.
Great walkable location!! All the staff were amazing and so kind. The food was great and the breakfast was worthwhile. Clean facilities and comfortable beds. Eddy was very accommodating in finding adventures for me.
Great view from the 6 bedroom dorm. I definitely loved waking up to that every morning. Hostel was clean. We had complimentary breakfast with juice. Eddy was very accommodating.

It was okay….room is on a busy street so you have a lot of noise and traffic pollution sneaking in through the window. Plenty of sunlight which unfortunately can also make the room warm; no fans. No kitchen but complimentary breakfast. Didn’t feel comfortable lounging in the rooftop as it doubles as a bar/restaurant and feels like you’re obligated to buy a beer or something just to take up a table. Staff is very friendly and outgoing, best part of the stay.
I really enjoyed my stay and would like to thank all of the staff for their attention, friendliness and delicious food. If I come to Banos again then I will definitely stay here. Excellent and well done.

Great hostel! Comfy beds and they accommodated me very well with a vegan breakfast! Eddy and Steven are super kind and social people that were the highlight of my stay :)
Eddy was super helpful. The location is unbeatable. Everything is walkable and near. The people in the kitchen were super nice and let us have dinner past the last call cause we arrived late, and one of them also coordinated a trip to the 7 waterfalls for us. Very kind people, would very much recommend the rooftop restobar. Great food + drinks!
Friendliest and most helpful staff ever. A little run down but you definitely get your bang for your buck! Perfect location. close to everything!

GREAT HOSTEL!! Such a good stay, staff are so so nice, beds are comfortable, showers are hot. You should absolutely stay here if in Baños :)
First of all I want to mention that the hosts were amazing, Eddy and Steven. They were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They gave great recommendations for my stay in Banos. Also the restaurant downstairs was awesome. The room and bathroom are where this hostel needs improvement. The room and bathroom were musky and felt dirty. Im not sure how other hostels in banos compare, but i would look elsewhere if you want a clean and quiet place to stay. This is more of a party hostel vibe.
