hostel déplorable. le staff n'est pas avenant, on a l'impression de les déranger a chaque demande. l'emplacement est loin d'être idéal, relativement loin de tout, mis a part du dépôt vente de materiel de construction acollé. Réveillé tous les matins à 6h30, à cause du bruit, quand ce n'est pas plus tôt a cause des bus de locaux qui dorment ici, se levant à 4AM et faisant un bruit fou jusqu'à 5AM. Leider sind die Bilder im Netz nur von den sehr schönen premium Zimmern, davon darf man sich nicht täuschen lassen. Mein 4er Zimmer war unfassbar klein. Es gab nur eine Steckdose für das Zimmer die wir uns teilen mussten. Es ist ein kleines Apartment indem sich jeweils 3 Zimmer mit unterschiedlicher bettenanzahl befinden und ein Badezimmer dass man sich teilen muss. Stadt ist sehr klein aber das Wetter hier ist angenehm. Mehr als 2 Tage würde ich nicht empfehlen. Aber der Preis ist sehr g�...

Not bad for cost. No hot water which was awful in monteverde. Location is ok, a little far (15 min walk) from main strip. Not really that friendly, only hang out spot was the kitchen. Lots of families. Front desk staff was very helpful with tours/taxis etc. safety was ok anyone can come and go as they pleased

We stayed at the hostel for 1 night and enjoyed it. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the beds were comfortable. However, the area was in an industrial place so it was very loud in the morning and there was only one bathroom to share amongst many rooms. They definitely need more! We also had our food stolen while there even though it was labelled very clearly.

Wir waren für eine Nacht da und waren in einem 4-er Zimmer. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und das Personal war super nett und kann viele Tipps geben. Allerdings war das Zimmern etwas klein und man hat sich ein Bad mehreren anderen Zimmern geteilt.

Das Hostel würde ich meiden. In diesem Hostel hat man keine Wohlfühlatmosphäre, wie man es von anderen Unterkünften gewohnt ist + die Frau an der Rezeption ist nicht unbedingt kompetent, Versteht kaum Englisch und kann einem nicht richtig helfen. Mitarbeiter/Eigentümer Jonathan hingegen schon.

The hostel was okay for the price. There wasn't many people there so it was very hard to meet anyone. The room itself was ok. It had an AC which was nice but there were lots of little bugs everywhere. It just didn't seem clean enough to feel super comfortable. Overall it was ok.

Very cheap and great hostel. A little away from the center. But great value for money

Honestly, one of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever stayed in, and the most well equipped kitchen I’ve ever had in a hostel. It’s clean and you can actually cook in it! Some spices and oil make a world of a difference. Staff were all great as well. Keep it up guys :)

Insane value for money, very friendly and informative staff, offer transport and tours. Kitchen facilities were great, very stocked with pots and pans and spices etc. Big shop right next door which is a huge plus.

Amazing laid back hostel for those who need affordable housing with all amenities for cooking your own food. The kitchen is all equipped and clean, rooms are tidy and the staff is amazing, smiling and super helpful with booking activities. Definitely recommend it.

Das Hostel war super! Es gab genügend Platz zum Kochen und eine große Auswahl an Gewürzen, was ich richtig toll fand. Die Hängematten waren mega bequem, genauso wie die Betten. Einziger Nachteil: Die Zimmer sind etwas klein. Aber sonst hatte ich einen super Aufenthalt – danke!

Cute little hostel nestled in the hills of Monteverde. Very cheap!! A little outside of the main strip of the town but only really a 10-15min walk to the centre. We were in a room of 4, it was a little tight. Not enough bathroom facilities in my opinion. Only one toilet, shower, sink to share with two rooms (8-10 people I think). It wasn't too much of a problem but it would've been nice to have more bathroom options. Water was HOT which was a plus! The staff were really, really great and answere...

Not at all a social hostel. But the property is soo clean and nice. No need for AC. The staff are so helpful and kind. Good, big kitchen! Good location. We liked out stay here. You can also book tours with them.

Really nice hostel, comfy beds, everything clean and modern, huge kitchen super well equipped, just a bit far walking from the center of stuff. Helpful staff too

I can only recommend this hostel! The rooms are good, comfy bed. Only 5 minutes from the town center. Staff is great! And the kitchen is a good place to meet other travellers.

Really nice hostel with a huge kitchen and hot showers! Dorms are basic but effective. Lovely staff who can book/help you organise all activities/transport. Bathrooms could have been cleaned a little more regularly (small toilet paper bin) but it wasn’t a big problem at all.

Comfy bed, very clean room and bathrooms. Staff were very helpful organising tours, replied quickly via text. Kitchen was big and well equipped. Would happily return again

Fantastic hostel in a great location, only 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Santa Elena. Staff were so welcoming and very helpful. Big kitchen/common space to accommodate guests numbers. Bathrooms were cleaned daily. We had a private room which had ample space for us and our big backpacks. Great added bonus to have towels included. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Best $8 I’ve ever spent on a hostel. Said there are lockers but I found none - only complaint. Otherwise great.

Tophostel! Heel proper, heel comfortabele bedden, op wandelafstand van het dorpje, en een receptie die je maar al te graag helpt. Absoluut waard voor je geld.

Exactly what we needed. Host was very kind and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. Laundry service. Walkable location from town. Shuttle arrangements. Good wifi. Cute cat.
