Cheap if they don’t lose your booking and charge you the direct booking cost which is inexplicably more than the hostel-world cost. One of the toilets actually had a toilet seat! Showed up and my reservation was not honored. The reception desk gave some bullshit excuse about his coworker in midshift not processing the Hostelworld portal reservations. Absolutely awful and zero lack of care. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Most horrific hostal experience of my life. People were smoking in the common areas and bathrooms, beer and drunk people everywhere, cockroaches in the kitchen, no soap in the whole hostal, rooms smelled like sweat and rotten food, no fresh air, plastic mattresses were 3 cm thick, bloadstains on the wall and sheets. And to top it off, when I came back in the evening, there was somebody sleeping in my bed. Everyone said they had a terrible time & even a upper rispiratory infection going around.

I wouldn't recommend this unless your despite. theres an awful atmosphere, inside looks like a building site. The beds are the worst i have ever come across. they dont wash the blankets. I met people who had made reservations but turned up and were told there is no available beds. They slept in the hallway on sofas. Also the water isnt always on. The only positive is the reception guy is nice.

Worst hostel ever stayed, really sorry to say that. The location is great, but they lack water for the showers, I were in the middle of a shower and the water just turn off. Lot of noisy and unrespectful people. In the dorm room scream and loud voices all night long, and also light on at every hours. The first night they assign me someone else bed, I was waken up in the middle of the night (2:20am) by the owner, not a friendly situation.

The only good things were the location & the wifi. Dirty bed sheets (stains & hair). No water half of the time & this has never been mentioned before or after I booked. Just found out on the spot. Staff quite nice overall but not able to help much. Lack of professionalism. They charged me in euros instead of mexican pesos, which costed me much more due to the exchange rate applied by their bank (while I specifically asked not to be charged in euros). horrible, beds are just metal sheets, people lying around being weird, ended up sleeping on the floor of my friends apartment rather than this dump

Since I arrived at the reception there was no good treatment, the room had a very bad smell and the bunk beds were very uncomfortable or noisy, the travelers who were there that day were very disrespectful when talking on the phone at three in the morning when we are all resting and it is constantly turning off and turning on the light after two am already bothers other travelers who are looking to rest, although the location is excellent, I would not stay there again

Like being in PRISON but with 9 other people in your room. Never again

Booked as very cheap but so had low expectations but this hostel was below even those. Cleanliness: This hostel had an aversion to providing soap or toilet paper making going to the toilet both inconvenient and unhygienic. Vibes: Are non existent if not annoying. No one socialising other than other people taking calls to other people in the hostel rooms no matter what the time. get what you pay for, but when I booked it had an 8.9 rating, this is a joke. It now has 8.0 at time of writing this review but I expect this to continue to fall. They overbook rooms all the time, no link on their system between Hostelworld, the desk and booking.com. Vibes = nothing, no loo roll, no soap, no drinking water. Great location, and the private room was ok. Bunk rooms beds so squeaky I could barely sleep, and felt bad for keeping others awake every time I turned in bed.

I guess you get what you pay for. if you appreciate a little more comfort in a hostel, I would not recommend this place. If you want to save money, sure go for it. But expect a very uncomfortable bed, filthy bathrooms and people sleeping in the hallways.

Das Hostel liegt sehr gut. Es ist abends sehr laut, da die Fenstee zu Gang sind und man die Leute im Gang hört. Ansonsten alles sehr sauber und freundlich.

Fuimos en la semana del día de los muertos y aunque la chica fue muy amable, tardamos 2h en hacer el check in (tendrían que poner más personal al menos en esas fechas). Los baños estaban muy limpios pero en las habitaciones había cucarachas. Aunque tiene muy buena ubicación, no lo recomendaría.

I don’t know how this hostel currently has an 8.9 rating. It feels more like a rundown motel from a bad movie. No vibe or communal atmosphere, tiny lockers, super dim lighting throughout, hardly any outlets to be found, thin mattress with no top sheet… I could go on, but an indication of how bad the place is would be the lack of any soap (or even soap holders) in any of the bathrooms. Location was good, but that was about it.

The hostel is one of the worst ones I have ever stayed at. If you want to meet new people this is not the place for you!

Es un lugar para dormir nada más, cuentan con cocina pero tiene horario igual que las duchas, no cuentan con agua potable incluida, TIENES QUE COMPRARLA, en la cocina hay cucarachas. Las camas son un poco incómodas. El personal es atento pero todo lo demás hace que no sea el mejor lugar para quedarse

Tokels Hostel, mit Super Lage. Direkt im Zentrum. Per U-Bahn und zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Der Plaza de Constitucion liegt nur 250 Meter entfernt. Mit der großen Kathedrale und dem Palicio Nacional. Mitarbeiter sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Küche gut ausgestattet, mit allem was man braucht. Betten sind bequem. Hab hier einige Nächte verbracht. Immer wieder gerne 👋🏽🇩🇪

Es un lugar tranquilo para hospedarse , las personas de recepción son muy amables , le hacen constantemente aseo , tiene cocina , esta abierto el hostal 24 horas y tienen una excelente ubicación en el centro histórico . Get what you pay for here. Great location, but hostel a bit run down with not great common areas. My dorm had a window to the corridor by the toilets and even with ear plugs it was very noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful. No soap is provided in the toilets which was inconvenient but also made it feel dirty knowing people were likely not washing their hands properly. Showers are limited to certain hours. There were plenty of toilets and the toilets were actually pretty new.

It is good but in the morning the bathrooms were ruined. I see that they are good though. Also I really love the location because it's by all of the important places.
