Was fine for a night as we needed somewhere to stay after a cancelled cruise tour, the staff were very kind.

Super friendly family owned hostel perfect for backpackers! Clean facilities and rooms and overall a good place to stay, I would highly recommend this accommodation:)

Quite okay, but the second building up the hill only has one bathroom for the whole dorm

As a solo traveller - the honestay was everything you could want - kind and lively Emma - helpful booking my amazing boat tour- my shuttles and yes it felt homely. Highlight of my trip. A massive thank you!

Staff were excellent and very friendly. Stayed in a private with two mates who he room was great value for money, huge and very clean. They run tours of the bay from the hostel as well and it’s really easy to book.

Lovely little place to stay, hosts were so nice and helpful! Close to everything you need too. Our bus arrived at 4am and they sorted out check in for us, I fell ill on our last day and they allowed me a late check out until I was feeling better. They sorted onward transport and day trips for us, and the laundry service was great!

The Kim family a the Homestay were incredible! They were kind enough to help me check in very late as my bus was delayed. They were also very kind and thoughtful with suggestions on activities and food. They handled all of the organizing and it was extremely easy to explore. The private room was nice and comfortable with a great view of the bay and islands! I would definitely recommend. I give them 20 stars!!

My bus was late and I arrived in the middle of the night- I emailed and asked what to do- I had an instant response- told what room and which bed and how to help myself in! In the morning- I was helped to find the right tour and book everything for me- even when I changed my mind. Even after checking out- they went out of their way to sort out my travel arrangements! They were so kind and so patient with me- i am truly grateful!!! Just what I needed . Thank you so much for your kindness !

Great stay. The beds were comfortable the staff was accommodating the home was spacious and clean. We weren't sure if I paid for a breakfast or not, but the host offered me a breakfast regardless. I only stayed one night so there isn't much more I can say about it, but it's in a prime location to explore Ha Long. So if you need a cheap bed in the area, I highly recommend.

Such a lovely homestay and the family who runs it are so amazing, they went above and beyond to help me and without them I would have missed my bus. They have well priced tours of the bay available and a laundry service as well.

I loved staying here! The hosts were so accommodating and kind - one night, while waiting for a Grab, they invited me to sit with them outside and shared their beer and food. They gave wonderful recommendations for travel itineraries and restaurants. Overall I loved my stay and would definitely stay again!

Kim as a Host made this hostel the best I've ever stayed in. He went above and far beyond what a Host is. A truly remarkable human being. If I ever have the pleasure of staying in Halong again I'd be lucky to stay in Kim's Homestay.

Unbelievable value. Clean room and bed in a dorm for so little. Included breakfast and a towel. Kim and his wife helped me sort my activities and transfer to cat ba. Can't recommend highly enough
