XPai Guesthouse

- TERRIBLE SERVICE The hostel itself is ok but we had a very bad experience with their scooter service. We rented 2 scooters 125cc for a few days. No one told us about a poor condition of the vehicles nor told us we should not go far or to the hilly areas. In fact we were even recommended to see the cave in the north by the lady at the reception. So we tried getting there. One of the scooters broke down on the way leaving us stuck in Ban Ja Bo for the night. We needed to pay for the accomodation + breakfast there (app. 1000B for 3 people) while also paying for the same night in XPai. We called xpai to inform about the situation and the lady was rather rude saying it’s too far away so they won’t help us and they will charge us for the repair of the bike and transport back. We needed to pay 500B for a truck to get us down to the broken scooter and then 900B for replacing the broken belt. After 15mins drive ON A FLAT ROAD the second scooter (with one person) broke. There was NO MISUSE from our side on none of the scooters. Again it was a belt but this time also a clutch, we paid 700B. When we made it back the lady was EXTREMELY rude and she refused to pay ANYTHING. After discussing for 15mins she agreed to pay half of what we paid for the scooter repairs. Her arguments were that we should have known that these are old bikes and this is fully our fault for going too far. She couldn’t understand that there was absolutely no misuse of the scooters. And honestly I wouldn’t even mind the fact that due to their shitty scooters we lost the whole day and bared quite some additional costs, but paying for the repairs of worn parts and having to go through the whole fight with a rude lady to get any of the money was just way too much. Terrible terrible service, avoid at all costs.

+ חדר מרווח , מקלחת טובה. יש שירות השכרת קטנועים במקום. שירות מכבסה טוב בתשלום.

- הקבלה פתוחה עד 16:00 ואחרי זה אין אפשרות להשיג אף אחד. הבריכה הייתה סגורה לכל אורך השהות שלנו וכל יום אמרו שהיא תפתח למחרת והיא לא נפתחה. היו לנו רעשים מהתקרה מאוד מפחידים של ציפור/לטאה/חרק מאוד חזקים בלילה שאמרנו לקבלה אמרו שאין מה לעשות ושזה ככה בכל החדרים. מיקום מאוד מרוחק, מחייב קטנוע או לשלם המון על מוניות.

+ Site klopt. Goede locatie, goed verblijf. De vriendelijke man die eigenaar zou zijn hebben wij niet gezien

- Er was alleen een chagrijnige onvriendelijke vrouw die geen woord Engels sprak en overduidelijk geen zin had aan toeristen. Ze was beleefd maar daar is ook alles mee gezegd. Wat een nare ervaring. Het ontbijt was erg karig en te weinig.

- Impression d'être dans un bunker ! Vraiment pas agréable ne convient pas du tout pour une famille ! Endroit pour les jeunes bacpackers. Musique et TV à fond jusque 4h du matin sur la terrasse du petit dèj qui lui aussi n'est vraiment pas top... et pour couronner le tout un oiseau a tapé avec son bec chaque matin (5h) sur les minis vitres de la sdb bref l'horreur!

+ Smart tv, чайник, наличие кухни, очень отзывчивый персонал и хороший завтрак

- Ужасная локация, рядом нет ничего. Ресепшен работает только в опресненные часы и вечером даже воды купить негде. Днем кухня тоже не работает, есть только завтра. Нужно заранее думать о еде и воде. Граб и болт не работают, такси если нет тайской сим карты вы не вызовите

+ Kitchen equipment, view behind the kitchen

- Location is quite far from downtown, there was a bad smell in the kitchen area

+ Zimmer war i.O., allerdings noch nicht geputzt, 15 Uhr.

- Frühstück frühestens ab 8 Uhr, dann aber doch erst 8:30 Uhr. Zimmer extrem hellhörig, eher ne Jugendherberge.

+ facilities were good

- no hot water in the hostel room and lots of bugs and mosquitoes inside

+ La posizione, fuori dal centro, il letto, la possibilità di avere dei mini appartamenti. La colazione è molto buona.

- La piscina era verde, le prese della camera 90% non funzionavano. Il bagno è obsoleto. Sicuramente ha bisogno della manutenzione!

+ Personnel au top, très sympathique, et agréable

+ Nouvel hôtel super agréable : piscine pour se rafraîchir, coin sport pour bouger un peu, coin chill pour ne rien faire du tout, et jeux de société pour rigoler. Vue magnifique, personnel adorable… j’ai failli demander à rester là en mode “résident permanent”.

+ Olin täällä jo toista kertaa. Paikka on ihanan rauhallinen ja viihtyisä. Kiva hengailualue, tatami treenaamiseen, uima-allas ja aamupala.

- Neljän hengen dormihuoneessa sänky oli kova. En muista viime kerralta kuuden hengen huoneesta samaa. Muuten huone oli loistava

+ Het personeel en de eigenaresse waren ontzettend vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam. De locatie ligt iets buiten pai, daardoor is het wel lekker rustig. En met de scooter of auto ben je zo in het centrum.

- De douche in ons huisje deed het niet goed. Maar de gemeenschappelijke douche deed het prima.

+ Het guesthouse bestaat uit een gedeelte waar backpackers samen op een kamer liggen. Daar is ook het zwembad maar banen trekken kun je daar niet in. Achterdoor liggen de kamers. Het zijn meer kleine vakantiehuisjes want ieder huisje heeft zijn eigen veranda met zit en buitenkeuken met ijskast.

- Het zwembad nodigde niet echt uit om in te zwemmen. Ik had niet de indruk dat het intensief wordt schoongemaakt. Het ontbijt was wel oke maar niet bijzonder. Je kon kiezen uit 2 verschillende.

+ Struttura carina, in campagna, un po' lontana dal centro, ma noleggiano gli scooter quindi ci si può spostare in autonomia..

+ The calmness and the staff.

- The beds were quite uncomfortable. It was hard to get to sleep

+ Les espaces communs sont agréables, et comprennent un endroit pour manger, canapés, tapis de yoga, jeux de société, piscine non chauffé. Les personnes qui s'occupent des lieux sont chaleureuses

- Le lit est dur. Proche de la route. Louer un scooter est nécessaire, sinon c'est 45 min de marche jusqu'au centre et la route n'a pas de trottoir.

+ The Staff are very kind and helpful Is easy to Rent a scooter 🛵 over the Hotel. the Room was clean too .
