This is a summer student residence more than a conventional backpacker hostel: mostly bare private or twin rooms, shared floor bathrooms, and a courtyard plus games and TV rooms, but no obvious organized social scene. The location, tram access, and cheap private space are the upside. Aging furniture, limited shower privacy, no lift or air-conditioning, heat, noise, and creaky beds recur in reviews; one July 2026 guest also reported bed bugs.
