ITH Hermosa Beach Surf Hostel LAX

Pretty bad experience. Apparently, someone thought I left behind some clothing and reported it to the receptionist, even though I hadn’t checked out. Whoever was in charge decided to wash and dry my hat, which shrunk, and put one of my jackets in a bag with a bunch of other dirty clothes soon to be washed. For some reason, my chucks were saved, thank god. One of the other receptionists helped me find my clothes, so a couple stars for that. Also, the location is nice and everyone’s nice

It was unbelievably dirty an everything is damaged. To open the room door you need 10min. The bed is way to soft! We were so happy that we only booked for two nights.. IT WAS THE BADEST HOSTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN!

Don't stay here if you want to sleep at night. When I read the comments about noise, I hoped it wouldn't be that bad, but it's worse. You can even feel the vibrations in bed from the music of the bar below and it doesn't stop until 2 a.m. every night. The quality of the hostel is very poor and not comparable to any European hostel. Everything is very old, dirty carpets on the floor, color coming from the doors, weird smell in the rooms, dirty kitchen etc. Worst hostel I ever stayed in.

Es war super dreckig!! Eine richtige Einweisung vom Personal gab es auch nicht, das eher überfordert war als es ein Problem mit der Buchung gab. Nachts wirklich sehr laut. Außer der Lage (1min. Zum Strand) nichts positives zu berichten!!!

This hostel is everything except a hostel. No security, no check in! You can come as you want! Can we talk about cleanness? No of course! There was hair in the shower, dirty foot prints, cockroaches and the assistant manager told us that for her it was clean! When I started taking pictures and videos to record everything, she told me that there was a lack of volunteers to clean the place but it was done superficially once a day in the morning and there was an intensive one once a week. LOL

I WAS ACCUSED OF INAPPROPRIATELY TOUCHING A LADY WITH TWO INFANT KIDS WHILE SHE SLEPT... BS . THIS PERSON IS RELATED TO SOMEONE WHO HAS MUCH AGAINST ME!!! I CAN CONFIRM THAT,SHE WENT TO SUPERVISOR MARCUS WHICH IS ALSO A PART OF A GANG STALKING COMMUNITY, OTHERS AT THE HOSTEL ARE ALSO PART OF THAT CIRCLE, A GS MALE ASKED THE MORNING EMPLOYEE HOW LONG I WAS STAYING & SHE TOLD HIM, EMPLOYEE LIVING IN FRONT OF 207, CHECK FOR OTHERS LIVING IN 90280 AND YOU WILL FIND MANY WHO RESIDE CLOSE TO MY AREA.

Pagamos 2 noites mas ficamos somente uma estadia,pois era muito zoado o lugar.Ambiente sujo,as camas estavam com a roupa do hospede anterior nós que fizemos a troca. A cozinha muito suja,nem tomamos café da manhã. Muito barulho para dormir, tem uma balada embaixo. Não tem estacionamento próximo, tivemos que deixar o carro uns 20 minutos a pé do local. Tentamos cancelar a reserva e ir para outro local mas não conseguimos. Os hóspedes não cumpre as regras,muito barulho dentro do...

great hostel, great staff, and great location! really enjoyed staying in this beautiful hostel on the beach!

All was great until day 2 when a young male housekeeper entered my room while I was asleep on my bunk and started cleaning. And worse, he was on the phone with someone telling them “I like the way you F#=%” and something about “best I ever had” Disgusting. I have never experienced anything so gross in any other hostel. Nice hotel, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hermosa Beach in hotel and hanging around to grab some thing you want. In all clean rooms, hospitality staff and convenient places with beautiful scenery

I loooove coming to their hostels. So comfy and clean and always feel so welcome

Good hostel in a lively area. Beds are a bit squeaky and uncomfortable. Staff energy is low compared to other hostels. I missed group activities, so I can't talk abt that. Hostel attracts budget travelers, not young social travelers. Free street parking nearby. Possible improvements: curtains by the beds and a small table for personal belongings and proper lockers, one for every bed. Overall good hostel compared to other hostels in the US.

Hermosa beach Hostel, It was a retreat, to be on beach, to swim in the Pacific ocean, to eat at Playa Hermosa restaurant across the street. The hostel is great, beach side property, the staff were great, the room and showers were clean. Saturday night they had free hotdogs for everyone staying here. Nice hidden gem on Hermosa beach.

Super kind and helpful staff, especially Jess. Loved the surfboard rental and free breakfast. A bit far from Downtown but Hermosa Pier is extremely nice and lively. Everything you need is close by; Beach, Food, Bars.

I recently stayed at **ITH Hostel in Hermosa Beach** and had a positive experience overall. **Pros:** - **Excellent Location:** Just a short walk from the beach. - **Friendly Staff:** Welcoming atmosphere. - **Free Breakfast:** A nice perk. **Cons:** - **No Air Conditioning:** Nights were humid. - **Loud Nightlife:** Disturbance from noise, including a homeless person banging on a trash can at 3:30 AM. Despite the drawbacks, I would still recommend ITH Hostel for its location and service.

Great location right next to the beach and lots of food nearby. It was a bit noisy at night but I didn’t have a problem with it. Overall great especially for the price.

Loved my stay at Hostel Hermosa! Amazing beach pier location great for morning workouts, easy surfboard rentals. Met an awesome, diverse crowd and the staff were super cool and helpful. A bit loud at night but the earplugs were clutch. Plus I was having too much fun to care. Can’t wait to come back!

I had a great stay at ITH Hermosa beach. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The showers were piping hot. The breakfast was good! Really enjoyed this spot - you absolutely cannot beat the location.
