Very basic place,it is very tired and needs renovation. Terrible blankets, no bedside table or light. lots of ants. the door was full of holes. There was no atmosphere and there is no longer a bar (like the pictures show). I cannot understand why this place has a good rating, unless negative reviews are removed?

We rarely had any running water and when we did it was cold. There was a huge gap in our door so some days we woke up with lizards in our room. When we told the receptionist and owner of our problems with no water she rudely offered us bottles of water to clean our body, the receptionist said “oh year it’s a reoccurring problem” okay… so fix it? Chilled and friendly hostel with nice staff, good location next to restaurants and 7/11. Aircon broke so got moved room no problem. Food was good but not a lot of options Private room doesn’t get cleaned daily with no sign, for a double bed you get a small blanket that hardly covers two people and isn’t warm, no hot water in shower and water pressure relies on the kitchen downstairs, if they have the taps on, the water in the sink and shower will be very weak. 1 bin in the bathroom for ru...

I think most hostels in Koh phangan aren’t that good and are very expensive. The main issue was that it wasn’t very clean. There are three toilets and two showers I think for the whole building. The dorm I was in had some glass doors to the bar, so it was very loud and bright if they were doing anything there. The hostel wasn’t very social- I think the owner and her family live there, so they hung out a lot, like a family home, but the guests mostly don’t and there are no activities etc.

Personnel sympathique mais l’endroit manquait d’amour. La chambre privée ne vaut pas le coût payé. L’évier ne marchait pas donc on a dû utiliser la douche. La couverture du lit était douteuse et très petite pour 2 personnes (le proprio nous a donné une autre du même genre quand on a fait la demande pour une 2e couverture). Sinon, bien placé pour la Halfmoon/Full moon.

The host was really nice just as the reviews stated. Otherwise it didn’t match the reviews at all. Dirty room, depressing atmosphere, not value for money. It was quite expensive I thought for what you get.

Overall, an ok place with a really lovely owner. The layout creates a very uncomfortable atmosphere though… smoking/social area is directly outside of the dorm room (as in, less than 2 steps away from the door) so the rooms smelt of smoke constantly and there was 0 chance you were getting any sleep if people are out there. I suppose it’s dependent on who else is rooming there - but trust, if there’s a loud partying group, there is nowhere to avoid them.

We loved this hostel. A little expensive for what you’re getting, however seems to be the same all around the island. The staff were amazing, helped us if we needed and sorted taxis. We were there over full moon and made effort to make sure we had the best time. Amazing beach and beach bar in just walking distance - I woild really really recommend!

Hatte alles was man braucht. Zimmer sauber, Betten gut, Staff freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man sollte einen Roller haben.

Stayed here during Full Moon and had a blast. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were cleaned regularly, the rooms were well air-conditioned, and staff were helpful. The hostel had a really nice community vibe, and it was very easy to make friends. Given the price during Full Moon, it far exceeded expectations.

Extremely nice place. Very close to the beach. Nice beds and showers. The staff there is extremely nice and will always welcome you with a smile.

Nice hostel, had a great atmosphere for the full moon party and was easy to get to and from only taking 10 minutes, staff were good, good place

„hostel mum“ was incredible and even drove us to the pier for free to get a ticket for the ferry!! staff was really welcoming and nice! solid hostel for staying during full moon, very social :) we had a great time!

Loved it! Nice chill hostel to come back to after partying - super accommodating and can buy all your tickets there and will go to every extent for you

Really nice hostel. Basic, but does the job. Lovely and helpful owner. You got everything you need there. One Saturday night there was a small concert, which was cool. Apart from that very quiet. Room was climatized so I had a really well night's sleep.

Kleines Hostel, wir hatten ein 2 Bett Zimmer und es war aufgeteilt wie ein Motel mit einer Außentreppe. Leider konnte man die Tür nicht richtig abschließen und ein Stück hat von der Tür gefehlt und man konnte durch den Schlitz durchschauen. Sicher war es leider nicht genauso wie die Schließfächer durch die man durch einen Schlitz durchgreifen hätte können. Das Personal war sehr nett.

Leider fühlten wir uns nicht sehr sicher, da das Türschloss nicht sicher war. Die Lage ist zwar gut, aber das Hostel befindet sich direkt an der Strasse. In der Nacht ist es sehr laut. Wir mussten mit Airpods schlafen. Das Hostel ist nicht sehr social. Am Anfang war es sauber, doch es wurde während userem Aufenthalt nie geputzt.

The staff was amazing! My friend did not feel well so we were allowed to stay in the room for the whole day even though we were supposed to check out on this day! Extremely helpful with everything, ordering taxi, recommendation or just making sure everyone had a great time! Definitely one of the nicest hostels I stayed in!

Einfach eingerichtetes Zimmer, Decke ist eher eine tagesdecke und die Klimaanlage kann sehr kalt werden. Aber man hat alles was man braucht. Lage war top um Tagesausflüge zu machen. Personal war auch super. Unten gab es tischkicker, billiard…

Nice chilled hostel. Had a private room, which only just about fit the double bed in it with not much room otherwise. Nice location, it is opposite a party hostel so you can pre there. Staff were super friendly and the food was really good. Sometimes you do get a bit of noise from the main road but this was expected at full moon. Only con really was the shower pressure was very low, other than that, nice stay.

Decent cute little hostel, for a party island it’s a good chill place where you can always sleep. Serves pretty decent food and the carers are lovely. Well located in one of the main strips and close to ped strips. Not a lot of atmosphere other than small talk but if you are travelling with another person and sit at the outside table you can easily have a beer with some people
