Surf Town Hostel

I discovered a bed bug two days after returning from my trip, during which I spent 4 nights at Surf Town and 1 night at another hostel. I emailed Surf Town to inform them, but I never heard back. While I can’t say for certain that the bed bug was acquired at Surf Town, it is clear that they are not taking the issue seriously or taking any precautions, given their lack of response.

Pretty good hostel with a decent social vibe and a great terrace. I also liked their breakfast. Unfortunately, I found a bed bug on my mattress when I was packing up to check out. I get that this isn’t the hostels fault, but when I brought this up to the staff they tried to tell me it wasn’t a bed bug and it was another type of bug, but it was a bed bug. I checked out that day, they didn’t acknowledge that there may have been bed bugs and future guests will probably get them until it gets addressed.

Don’t go here. Bed bugs. Staff weren’t bothered about the bed bugs. Rooms aren’t nice, very hot, no plugs near beds

pretty overrated, even on a fri and sat it wasn’t very busy/social, the main reason for the poor review are the bedrooms. overpact, shitty beds, some don’t have a fan on them, bugs everywhere, i’ve never been bit so much i wouldn’t be surprised if they had bed bugs

*** BEDBUGS ALERT *** This hostel has bedbugs. On 28 July 2022 I stayed in private room n. 6 and I was badly bitten while sleeping. I'm sure it's bedbugs because of how the bites looked. I let the reception guy know and he almost ignored me. He literally said it could be ants or mosquitos (which is 100% false) and then simply looked away from me and dismissed my claims. Avoid this hostel.
