Niras Bankoc Cultural Hostel

A nice and mostly clean hostel. Good location, the area felt safe. However a bit far from the metro and sky train. We found that bus was the best option for transportation. Did see bugs in one of our beds, but as far as know not bed bugs. Overall, a good stay in a nice area in Bangkok.

Positives: super friendly and helpful staff. Food nearby is famous across Bangkok. The showers are warm and have power to them. Negatives: bedbugs in the first room. Was a very unpleasant night, so make sure to check the beds. The hostel is clean, so I assume they were a recent arrival. It's also so far from things, a 50 bat negotiation every time you leave to go somewhere else. Most taxi drivers pretend not to know where the hostel is.
