Location OK, 20 minutes walk to the “center”. Beds good. You couldn’t lock the door - to your room, the door to the house or the bathrooms (one bathroom you could lock, but that also locked itself so you couldn’t access it from the outside). Easter island is a safe island, but anyone could just enter the building and your room without any problem. The atmosphere at the hostel wasn’t great. Info from staff very bad. Cockroach and street cats in the kitchen. Sweet of Kari to drive to the...
Kori è molto disponibile, ti viene a prendere e a lasciare in aeroporto.
The rooms are all fine, but the beds don't have drapes, so zero privacy and if you are disturbed by any noise or light source. kori is very available, you come to pick you up and drop you off at the airport. overall structure really SPORCA, a garbage can left in the kitchen for days that stank, the sink full of flies, food left in the fridge by people who passed by, dirty bathrooms
- Good hostel, a little walk to the Main Street (10-15mins). Breakfast provided, very basic but does the job Clean - Not that social but that’s Rapa Nui (not loads of backpackers) - They can recommend tours - They offer airport pick up but organise via WhatsApp - non responsive on email - no AC but after speaking to others in different hostels that seems common. There was a fan in the room - biggest issue - lack of power points by each bed or and no shelf
Really nice stay here, the house is lovely and great to have a kitchen and breakfast included. Only downside was on my final evening the toilets were very dirty, but that was caused by guests not the hostel themselves.
Kori was very helpful setting up our tour and was prompt in moaning a simple breakfast every morning. He runs a good hostel.
The staff was extremely helpful. The only slight issue I had was that the height of the bunk beds were low causing me to hit my head. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there.
Cool hostel to explore the island! Don't come looking for hostel vibes though, but in any case, the island is pretty chill in general..
Kori was so nice and helpful, I really liked my stay.
You can’t go wrong with this hostel if you are looking for a cheap option on Easter Island. Kori, the owner, is extremely friendly and helpful. He booked all my tours for me! The hostel is a bit of a walk from the main town but the tours pick you up right at the hostel. I took a point off security since the locker in my room needed to be repaired. There is a street dog that likes to hang out at the hostel, which normally I’m not a fan of but this one was thankfully chill and not disruptive.
Facilities were bare minimum, although I think that should be expected on a remote island. The location is on a dirt road, and GPS tried taking me on some roads that didn’t exist but would have cut through people’s property. It was difficult to get in touch with the staff when something was needed, and some tour pickups required us walking to the real paved road and waiting out there. Not the most comfortable hostel compared to other cities, but fine for the minimalist island.

Everything was great

Kori is the host and owner of the hostel and he's great. He cooks breakfast each morning and can give some recommendations around the island. It's a small island so there are only a handful of things you can do, and it's kind of up to you to figure it out (via one of the pamphlets at the house or from the vendors at the main street or online). I wish Kori leaned more into recommended vendors but that's okay, he has materials available for review. The house is super clean, and although the hos...
Really nice hostel with a friendly and sociable vibe. The breakfast was lovely every morning but what really made the hostel was the attentiveness of the hostel owner. She went out of her way to ensure our four days on the island were used to their fullest with recommending good tour companies and somewhere to see local dancing. She was available and approachable each morning to offer advice and support during our stay.
Absolutely perfect stay. Host sits down with you and gives you an introduction to the hostel and anything on the island you’d like to know. The place is clean, even making your bed daily. Nice little breakfast table before your tours. It’s very peaceful and has areas to chill out. Shops around the corner and only a short walk to town. Really enjoyed my stay here.
All right, thank you very much to Kori and the staff!

Really good WiFi and great location. Really good value for money and having the breakfast thrown in is good. Rooms are nice.
My favourite place that I have stayed since travelling in June. I was lucky enough to spend the week here and I had an incredible time at Kori's hostal. Firstly it doesn't feel like a hostel but a home. Kori was incredibly welcoming and friendly from when he picked me up from the airport. Kori was always around to help everyone out who stayed. The beds are really comfortable, warm showers and nice areas to chill. The breakfast is also really good. The tours they offer were amazing. Thanks Kori!!
I've been super welcomed by Kori, Kori also speaks English, helps with the Organisation of Excursions, gives Tips on Eating and is always helpful.

I could write 5000 characters but still I could not describe such an experience and thank Casa del Kori enough. I never imagined that by booking a simple bed I would live an unforgettable experience with people who really made me feel like family, made it not a journey in my life but my life in a journey. Many thanks to Familia Kori and their invaluable circle for being part of my birthdays and letting me be part of their lives. Māuru infinitas todo was excellently beatipul

Great hostel! The host Kori is super welcoming and suggested some good tours
A very nice and cozy hostel located close to the center of the town. I really liked that it was a bit off-centre, which provided for less noise than on the main streets. The breakfast is all that you need to start the day, and the people I met there were all friendly. As a solo traveller, or with a couple friends, I recommend this hostel!
We really enjoyed staying on La casa del Kori. Place is located short walk to town in quite area. Kori picked us up from the airport and showed us around town. He was very helpful in organizing our tours and renting a car. Breakfast was very good and plentiful and we even had our beds made every day. I would definitely stay there again.
Kori is a very kind host with a great property in Rapa Nui. He offered good suggestions for tours and tours even picked up from the hostel itself. it's a bit far away from most restaurants on the main street (about a 15-20 min walk). The property has a very large kitchen which is great for cooking. The shower was sometimes hot, sometimes cold. Pedestal fans are in the property, no air conditioning. The free airport transfers were a very nice gesture!
Loved staying here! It’s got a great location between the airport and the city so you can walk everywhere. The rooms are clean and I loved having the patio to get the breeze (it can get hot). Best of all was Kori! Would stay here again to learn how to make more than just po’e!
Hostel outside the downtown area - but a few minutes walk away - so come quiet and quiet.
Cool hostel to explore the island! Don't come looking for hostel vibes though, but in any case, the island is pretty chill in general..
