- There is a spa in the middle of the car park with a cage around it and the room had garden tools and old suitcases on the ceiling. Outside the back window thousands of ltrs of lpg within meters of where you sleep. Not a great spot, find another location for your stay.

- Tiny bathrooms, no cooling, heating thru panel heater, sink was so small that you can’t even wash hands. Bathroom water spreads everywhere. Beds were smelly. Not enough parking for all the rooms. Noisy place. They charge huge money for such a crappy place.

- Hands down the smallest room I have ever encountered. Two guests had one chair, that’s it. Not even space for a towel rail. You cannot bend over in the shower to wash below your knees. An aged double bed that makes a park bench look comfy. Booked for 2 nights, bolted after 1.

- Das Zimmer war sehr dreckig und sehr muffllig, der Teppichboden ist an den Seiten komplett ausgerissen, die Matratzen waren alt, die Vorhänge etc haben gestunken, die Laundry war sehr schmuddelig usw. Zum Frühstück gab es nichts mehr, weil die Backpacker sich gleich für den ganzen Tag eingedeckt haben. Für diesen Service war es absolut überteuert. Bei Booking gibt es keine Angabe oder einen Zusatz, dass es ein Hostel ist. Das war das Schrecklichste, was wir jemals hatten

Was feeling optimistic about this hostel given its high rating. However, the place is so outdated and has a horrible damp musky smell. Bathrooms are tiny. Wifi is useless. Kitchen only has one hob that works so makes it pretty difficult to cook anything during dinner time. No plugs beside your bed, which were tiny. People must have some really low standards if they are giving it a 10
+ Es war extrem klein und ich habe mich einfach nur unwohl gefühlt. Auf einer Art Mauer standen im Giebel des Zimmers mit Spinnweben überzogene alte Gegenstände. Die Bilder an der Wand waren über 70 Jahre alt. Bad völlig klein, genauso wie das Waschbecken. Ich konnte mir dort keine Zähne putzen. Eklig.
+ No breakfast was included nor given. Even though while booking the accommodation it had mentioned that breakfast was included.
- The hygiene, cleanliness of the room was not up to standard.

Great place to stay. Staff were super helpful and can't go past free soup.
Great hostel, free soup at 6pm every night was perfect. Not much to do in the village but plenty of walks nearby which is good. Also parking right outside the door of your bedroom which was ideal. Would recommend to anyone wanting to be in Franz Josef for a few nights. However no curtains if you’re used to that

- Mattress on beds needs replacing, terrible sleep.
+ Nette Betreiber der Unterkunft. Es gab kostenlos Popcorn zum selbst herstellen und 18 Uhr für alle Suppe. Das war eine gute Idee und hat die Gäste gut zusammen an den Tisch gebracht. Der Hot Pool im Außengelände war auch klasse. Küche war gut ausgestattet und alles war sauber und ordentlich. Sehr angenehme, gemütliche Atmosphäre.
Nice operator of the property. There was free popcorn to make yourself and 6 pm soup for everyone. This was a good idea and brought the guests together well to the table. The outdoor hot pool was also classy. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean and tidy. Very pleasant, cozy atmosphere.

+ Good location, view and layout. Its cute and actually feels like your on the coast. Love the kea that vist morning and night!

+ Lage und Preis-/Leistungsverhätnis der Unterkunft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es gab Suppe und Popcorn umsonst am Abend. Lage zu Restaurants sehr gut.
- Platzangebot, Mini-Bad, man konnte nicht vor dem Haus parken, per Hot Tub war leider defekt. Ok für 2 Nächte.
+ 地點方便，走路5-10分鐘內就有超市跟用餐地點，有小朋友的，接待處有爆米花，小朋友們會很開心。公用廚房簡單，方便、乾淨，到了晚上六七點，還會有額外免費湯品，讓大家享用。此外，坐在廚房餐桌，一邊用餐聊天，還可以遠眺遠方冰川，實在是難忘的回憶。

- Light behind bed didn’t work , heater didn’t work and shower curtain didn’t contain water in shower so floor in bathroom very wet
+ Very nice host, very tasty soup every evenings included
- The room was a little bit smaller for three people with luggage - next time I would book the family room with four beds.
