- Los perros de la casa ladran por las noches y como hay perros callejeros que pasan por allí se ladran con los perros callejeros. Se duerme fatal. No os lo recomiendo.

- The beds were terrible. They need to be replaced. There were big holes in the beds so that sleeping was hardly possible
Such a catfish hostel. So expensive, they were undergoing renovations, it smells like mould in the rooms and it is just run down. The price is ridiculous for what you get.

- Bed bugs found in multiple beds in 2 different dorm rooms. While I understand that bed bugs aren't always the fault of the hostel, as they can't control if a guest brings them in from somewhere else, I was disappointed in their response and lack of procedure to deal with the issue. They didn't offer any solutions to help me clean my things, and overall didn't seem to care that much or understand the seriousness of the problem. As far as I'm aware, no one went to check out the rooms and there were still people staying in them totally unaware when I left.
Beware! We booked a room which was listed as a "Deluxe 4 Bed Private Ensuite". However, the room we were given had only two beds. When we pointed this out, we were told that they have no rooms with four beds, rather our room with two beds was a "four person" room. Even when I showed the booking to the person checking us in, they made no effort to rectify the situation. Instead, we had to book and pay for an additional room in order to make sure we had enough beds. Not acceptable.

+ A reggelin és a hostelben megismert személyeken kívül semmi jót nem tudok mondani.
- Nem foglalnám újra. 6 ágyas női hálóteremben voltam, a fürdőszobából borzasztó szennyvíz-szag áradt. Az ágyam feletti kis polcon pedig morzsa volt, amit érkezésemkor én takarítottam el.

- Teníamos otra expectativa del hotel. Nos decepcionó, el baño estaba lleno de pelos como si no hubieran realizado aseo. El colchón duro , almohadas incómodas y con mal olor, no tiene para nada relación con el precio q pagamos. Y el desayuno muy regular, Al entregar la habitación hice la observación y no prestaron atención.

Prachtig hostel op een fijne locatie. Het ontbijt was goed en er was veel keuze. Onze kamer onderin het hostel was een beetje vochtig, daar moeten ze even naar kijken!

+ Muy buena opción para dormir en Salento. En 5 minutos andando estás en la plaza principal donde se cogen los Willys. Muy equipado y desayuno rico incluido.

+ Far away from center of town. Nowhere to park your car. The place doesn’t have parking.
- Noisy place. Hard to get a good night sleep do to the outside noise . Breakfast was so plain and boring that it would be difficult to call it a breakfast.

+ It is very clean; great communal area with attractive gardens. Leon was extremely helpful and gave great customer service! Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Complimentary coffee throughout the day and filtered water is a nice touch.
- It’s noisy b/c the way the rooms are built. You can hear the roosters, the dogs and anyone talking in the hallways or outside as though they are in your room.

- La ubicación muy fácil de llegar y cerca todo, tranquilo y no hay ruidos en la noche.
+ La cama sí nos pareció un poco dura, aunque curiosamente mi espalda descansó bien. El problema más grande, y para mí el más importante, fue el ruido. Durante toda la noche y desde muy temprano se escucha de todo: gallinas, gallos, gatos, perros, motos y gente con música o bocinas a todo volumen. Hay ruido a la 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 y 7 de la mañana… realmente se vuelve muy difícil descansar. Por lo que entendí hablando con otras personas, no parece ser algo exclusivo del hostal, sino también parte de la dinámica del pueblo, pero aun así afecta muchísimo la experiencia. El desayuno me pareció decente, básico pero un poco mejor de lo mínimo esperado. También se agradece que en recepción ofrecen apoyo con tours y que guardan las maletas, lo cual suma bastante. El servicio en general fue bueno. Dicho eso, por el precio —casi 90 dólares— sí esperaba algo mejor resuelto en cuanto al descanso, quizá una construcción más aislada del ruido o una experiencia más cómoda para dormir. Comparándolo con ciudades como Medellín o Bogotá, siento que por mucho menos dinero uno encuentra lugares más completos, más cómodos y con desayunos incluso mejores. En ese sentido, sí me dio una sensación de ser un lugar con precio elevado para lo que realmente ofrece. Si lo que buscas es ambiente y una estancia agradable, puede funcionar. Pero si para ti lo más importante es descansar bien y dormir en paz, yo sí lo pensaría dos veces.

+ Lovely grounds with plenty hang out space that felt welcoming. The breakfast was really good with great choices. The two dogs are unbelievably great hosts, and the staff were very helpful. Bathroom facilities were good - nice hot showers.
- We’d argue it’s overpriced, £20 for 4 bed dorm is super expensive and there’s not a huge social vibe.
