The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the 2 women at the reception. But when I first checked in to the dorm, the room smelled absolutely awful. The floor was dirty too and more importantly there were bedbugs!! After informing the receptionist, they put me to another room, which was cleaner. But wouldn’t stay there more than 1 or 2 nights.

First of all, I’d like to say that the staff working here are very friendly and helpful, and especially responsive on Whatsapp whenever I needed help with booking transfers or tours, and just making general inquiries and looking for recommendations. Thank you very much for your help! And for always greeting me with a warm smile no matter the time of day. What was the major downside for me was the cleanliness of the hostel. I had many bed bug bites after staying 2 nights in the girls dorm. Also the rooms are not as clean or nice as the photos. There’s quite a bit of mould, including on the pillow, and the bed frames are in old condition. The rooms are dark and don’t have a window, and the bathroom is small (but the bathroom was quite clean!), and provided shampoo/body soap. The location is really convenient. It’s not the most social hostel, but the price is really great and it’s still easy to make friends just by talking to the other travellers staying here. It’s good value but after encountering bed bugs, I’d have reservations about returning. Writing this here so other travellers have a heads up just in case, as I was quite surprised by how this wasn’t mentioned in previous reviews at the time when I had booked it.

The staff are great, so is the location. But the girls dorm has bed bugs. Wish someone had mentioned this in the reviews so I could be warned. It’s very affordable but not worth the itchiness of the bed bugs bites. Also, the rooms don’t look as nice as the photos are showing. But the bathroom is pretty clean.
