I was treated disrespectfully by the staff simply for asking for assistance due to my disability. The following night, after midnight, the entire staff started shouting 'Happy Birthday.' They did not care If the guests were sleeping. The owner on the phone offered me a 'free breakfast' to compensate for the situation. Due to the character limit, I can't fit all the details here, but it was a horrific experience. The worst staff and hostel experience of my life. I cant truly believe this rating.

Personale super disponibile, zona comoda vicino alla metto di Mile End. Pochi spazi comuni per essere un ostello, molto apprezzate le tendine per fare privacy in ogni letto del dormitorio. Buona pulizia, un po’ alta la tariffa per un letto in dormitorio e per la struttura che non è’ particolarmente moderna.

The main problem with this hostel is many ( but not all) of the staff treat it as though its a cafe and not a job. I had to ask the people that worked there (on different nights) to stop talking loudly at 12am in the morning. Many of the staff monopolize areas that are supposed to be for the guests. A few of them have a very bad attitude and act like they're paying you to stay there. The bathrooms were also not the cleanest.

Super noisy in the reception area with music playing and people singing and shouting- didn’t sleep a wink either night. Kind of ruined our stay in London as both of us were so tired. Would recommend paying a little extra for a hotel room.

Not a bad spot for a couple of nights, but quite expensive. The bedrooms were good, but common areas were a bit tired and not many comfy spots to sit. Not a very social vibe at all.

Super chilled hostel. Perfect to get some rest, not so much to make new friends. The bunks have curtains and an internal storage space which is perfect. Overall very clean, staff is really nice and the hostel is close to the tube station (though is zone 2, more expensive) and several shops.

Good hostel to stay in, however, the room is a bit stuffy in the summer and the windows and fans provided do not reach the top bunks which made it quite difficult to sleep comfortably.

Overall my stay at the hostel was ok. The hostel is located directly on a noisy street, so you can hear the traffic at night or early in the morning even with the windows closed. The hostel itself is clean, but there were two smelly clothes behind my bed that didn't belong to me or anyone else. The staff is very nice and helpful, but unfortunately hardly knew the area. In itself, the neighborhood is fine, but as a young woman, I was recommended not to go out alone in the evenings. You can get a ...

No está mal para Londres, que en sí es más caro de lo que se merece, pero me sentí segura y dormí bien, sin ruidos ni molestias. Lo que me mató fue subir mi maleta que pesaba por una miniescalera y el mucho polvo en la habitación. No sé si era algo puntual o es así siempre. Pero bueno, bien.

A good but high cost (twice elsewhere), and slightly congested place. Beds & bathrooms good. Guests should be encouraged to be more respectful of quiet times.

I found the location was ideal for transport links into Central London and the fact it was next to a park. It was on quite a busy road so night time traffic was constant. I was in a single bed which was clean and comfortable. Shared shower rooms were clean but a bit dated. Plenty of equipment to prepare food in the kitchen, and a small TV lounge with books available to use. I would stay again when visiting London.

The best Hostel I‘ve ever been to, also the neighbourhood is very nice :)

The staff was so sweet! The only thing I felt concerned about was the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the location was a bit sketchy, but other than that, all good!

Lovely hostel, was great for all points east festival and in the most ideal location. Amazing staff and great facilities :)

All in all very positive. One little thing: They could need at new pan for frying eggs... Claus

Clean, secure, private. Staff are very welcoming. Galley style kitchen. Many stairs to negotiate. Lower levels better suited for large travel bags. Continental breaks available at good rate. Close to train station and buses outside.

Solid hostel, location is right next to a metro line. I wish the facilities were a little cleaner but it was a good value for the price. The staff were very nice. Thank you!

Bed was very comfortable, curtains around the bed are very much appreciated, great location and staff were lovely

I really enjoyed my short stay here! Staff were super nice and helpful. I stayed in 6-bed female room. The bed was spacious enough and also offered some privacy through the curtains. I liked that there was a desk inside of the room so I could get some work done. Also I forgot my power adapter and they kindly offered me one free of charge - was a lifesaver and saved me some bucks. Looking forward to hopefully coming back some day!

Underwhelming, sadly. This hostel seems to be more of a boarding house that also takes short-term guests. One of the staff seemed to be living in a corner of the dorm room I stayed in. I wanted to use the kitchen but there wasn’t a lot of space and only three hot plates all next to each other, and things were run down (no handle on toaster, leaks, etc). The staff are very friendly and helpful though! Very safe area and close to Mile End tube station.

Really great hostel and location. I would have liked more spacious lounge area, with charging points for phones laptops

Warm,clean ,secure bedrooms Helpful,welcoming and friendly staff Communlal bathrooms and kitchen and lounge look a bit tired but this wouldnt stop me from staying here again-excellent

I stayed here for 3 nights and I was specifically looking for a chiller, safe and clean hostel and this ticked all my boxes. Loads of safe storage in the rooms and beds comfortable. Would stay again.
