AdHoc Hostel

Brilliant hostel, but beware of bed bugs. I was bitten 10 times during a 2 night stay. I didn't let management know at the time, because the bites only came up after I left. Hopefully it's not a big issue because I didn't see any bugs. My advice is to check the mattress and keep any luggage well away from the bed.

Ich war zwar nur eine Nacht da, jedoch hatte ich den Eindruck, dass man nicht wirklich mit anderen Reisende in Kontakt treten kann. Es werden keine Touren oder Aktivitäten angeboten. Leider hatte ich nach der einen Nacht diverse Bettwanzen Stiche…

Auberge qui a des.punaises de lit dans ses chambres. Une fois la contamination constatée, le tenancier n'a même pas reconnu la contamination. A absolument eviter.

Unclean and bed bugs: Stayed 2 days and discovered bed bugs the morning I was to check out, was informed by a girl in my room (not staff) the room had been exterminated the day I arrived so clearly had not done a thorough job and had not disclosed this to me. Upon telling staff I was given no apology and a cold reception, when I told the manager I was dissatisfied with the response (as I had to pay for all my things to be cleaned and was not given the decency of some empathy) I was yelled at by the manager,

Good location, but first time I experienced bed bugs, everyone in dorm did not sleep and experienced several bedbugs on the wall. Bathroom next to entrance stairs with huge windows. Management handled bedbugs situation terribly. We provided photos and more. First time I’ve written a bad review and sadly won’t recommend this place to others.

When we went to check in we were told our room wasn’t ready because it was being sprayed for bed bugs, obviously not ideal but at least they were taking precautions. Then we were told less than five minutes after it had been sprayed that it was safe to go in, when we questioned it (cause you’re meant to wait 4-6 hours usually) we were told by a very evasive receptionist that we knew nothing and Slovenian bed bugs were different. We did look for other accommodation but were unsuccessful so just went out and

Bed bugs everywhere in our 6 man dorm and had to leave the hostel in the night due to the amount of them. Hostel knows of bed bugs but room is still full of them. Location is nice with lots of restaurants around. Nearest place to wash clothes is a 30 minute walk away.
