The Hosteller Goa, Old Goa

the location is very good but the restriction are spoiling all of it, no drinks allowed, play area closes at 11 , what is the purpose of booking this hostel then if you can't even enjoy

Hostel excentré, pas très clean j'ai croisé un rat dans un couloir menant au dortoir le soir. L'eau de la piscine est très froide. Un ventilateur dans la chambre tourne toute la nuit en plus de la climatisation faisant extrêmement de bruit. Pour mon départ j'ai demandé un taxi pour l'aéroport celui qui m'a été proposé été 50% plus chère que le tarif normale pour cette course

I where here a few days by NYE, the staff was normal, I request 3 times changue bed for a lower, always saying the room was full, but the days i where, the room was empty, I saw how they don't changue the sheets, so It disgusted me a little, the place its pretty, but far away from many beaches, the people mostly where indians...

Very hospitable and helping people. Tasty food. Bus stop is exactly at the front gate of Hosteller. Cozy stay. Loved it.

Very nice rooms with great privacy and a lovely roof terrace looking over the river. Not a great social atmosphere going on though, can feel aloof. But if you’re just trying to relax for a few days or need a comfortable roof over your head then this place is great.

Bathroom needs something to dry the floor otherwise it’s very slippery. The code system on the doors is very easily hackable imo. The food in the restaurant is very overpriced for the amount one gets. Otherwise it’s a very well maintained fresh hostel with very friendly staff.

This hostel has a lot of potential with a nice pool and rooftop terrace but it hasn't really got a vibe and is not easy walking to Old Goa or Panjim . The rooms are very new and beds are comfortable but the entry system to the rooms is mad. You have to get a new 6-digit code from your phone every time you enter the room so if you forget your phone when you go out you can't get back in unless someone is inside the room. Also you can only pay online and not with cash or card in person.

So, here's the thing about this hostel... it's not a hostel, but neither is it fully a hotel. It is clean and maybe a welcome reprieve if you've been staying in hostels. But it doesn't have the same social vibes of a true hostel. It needs to be organising daily activities and a more communal style breakfast to be a hostel but the cafe is decent. Had a great stay at The Hosteller Goa, Old Goa. Peaceful location, clean spaces, and a really nice vibe overall. The team was helpful and the property makes it easy to relax or meet people. Perfect if you want a calmer, more cultural side of Goa.

clean, pretty, the only con is the bugs in the lobby.

Value for money. For less than 500rs a hotel experience with a swimming pool and roof terrace. Good smelling soap and comfy cubicle bed. Also best library I saw in a hostel with good books instead of leftovers. Bus stops in front or walking to old goa is possible. Downside, restaurant relative expensive, not many food options around. Unless in old goa. Something to improve, cleaning the bathroom walls and provide a wiper for the floor. But given the price these are minor things.

Great place to stay for solo travel and backpacker. Budget friendly with top notck cleanliness . Big swimming pool and games area as well. Staff is also helpful and friendly.

I've decided that I should visit Goa only after getting a booking confirmation from the Hosteller, Old Goa. Serene location, awesome staff and decent room maintenance.

It was my first time with The Hosteller but now its always gonna be my stay place !!

Very chilled hostel, felt more like a hotel to be honest! Stayed in a spacious dorm with really excellent facilities, very clean and comfortable. Lot’s of social spaces, there’s a small library in the basement and rooftop, and a pool! Very good value for money and the surrounding area is very chilled, it’s a good spot if you’re visiting Old Goa 👍🏻
