Der Vibe war super – man kommt schnell mit Leuten ins Gespräch und fühlt sich direkt wohl. Die Küche könnte allerdings etwas besser ausgestattet und gepflegt sein. Der Schwamm war alt, es fehlte an Tüchern, der Kühlschrank war schmutzig und das Kochgeschirr sehr abgenutzt. Die Betten waren okay, aber nicht besonders bequem. Für den Preis ist es ein schöner Ort, aber ein paar kleine Verbesserungen würden den Aufenthalt deutlich angenehmer machen.

Hostel in wunderschöner Lage direkt zwischen Meer und Wald. Organisation war leider eine Katastrophe. Gebuchte Touren haben einfach ohne Info nicht stattgefunden, der Flughafentransfer hat fast eine Stunde gewartet weil im Hostel falsche Zeiten durchgegeben wurden

positive: really nice people, where you can make friends without being a party hostel (that means you can sleep). dorms weren't very spacious nor did they have places for the backpacks.

One of the best hostels we’ve ever stayed at! My friend and I were traveling just us two and we stayed in one of the private bungalows. It was the perfect place to relax for several days. We had our own hammocks, the beds were comfortable. The staff were fantastic and we did a tour through the hostel, highly recommend. We didn’t want to have to cook and the hostel offers delicious breakfasts and dinners for a good price. Loved our stay!

This place is truly amazing!! Staff was very chill and helpful and the location is just stunning. Beds and showers are basic but I had the most amazing time here. The vibe vas very social so I extended up to two times. Highly recommend!!!

Kann dieses Hostel nur weiterempfehlen, Sehr liebe Inhaber, familiäres Verhältnis unter den Gästen. Faire preise an der Bar, für Surfbretter etc. Dieses hostel hat meinen Aufenthalt in El Valle zu einem absoluten Highlight gemacht!

Sensational beach side hostel. Very rustic but has everything you could want: a small bar with snacks available, surfing lessons, even a gym. A brilliant place to spend a week chilling.

+Very nice staff, amazing atmosphere among staff and guests (people hanging out but not being noisy at night), cheap beer, free water and coffee. Most well equipped kitchen in Colombia so far, which definitely is not perfect but you can cook properly. Easy to book good tours at the hostel. -No restaurant like it says, but you can order breakfast and dinner at the hostel and there and many nearby. Smells a bit moldy but that’s not very weird considering the humidity.

I absolutely loved my time here. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Danielle, Juan and Adriane were so helpful in every way for recommending tours and finding places in town or along the beach. The atmosphere at the hostel was also very social and a great way to meet people. I could not recommend more.

Definetly the best hostel I‘ve been to! The Pelican house is like a hidden paradise directly at the beach. The atmosphere is great and the people working there are amazing and made the stay even more special. I loved everything about it and would have loved to stay forever

Great stay in the Pelican : staff very nice and helpful, dorms clean with enough space for bags, kitchen well equipped. Great location facing the sea and at 15min from the pueblo. Loved the night jungle tour and renting surfing boards there! Totally recommending it!

What an amazing place! It’s not about luxury—it’s about good vibes, cozy company, and enjoying the slow life. You have everything you need and nothing you don’t. Great hostel, enjoyed my stay there and for a hostel on the beach had great facilities. Was a bit quiet but think that's because it was coming to the end of whale season. Would recommend staying. One thing to know: DO NOT BOOK TOURS THROUGH THE HOSTEL They charge a crazy fee compared to the local tour operators (sometimes double) and it's not fair on the tour operators that they take such a big cut.
