bed bugs. 2 nights here and ive got the worst rash ive ever experienced. every piece of linen and mattresses need replaced as soon as possible. spoke to 1 other guest on day of checkout and he also had rash breakout during his 2 nights here

BEWARE: Dorms are infested with bed bugs Beds are incredibly uncomfortable. The hostel is lying about having air conditioning. They have 2 fans one of which is broken and looks like it has been broken for some time. The location is not good enough to justify staying here. Stay away!!!! Only positive is Alibaba and Memhet Kebab house down the road which is delicious

I wouldn’t stay in the dorms, they suck. It’s in the basement and it’s dark. Maybe it’s just because I was alone down there during my stay but damn. Not social, wouldn’t stay here in the winter at least, I bet it’s way better during higher season.

Avoid if you can. They lie about the breakfast. Don’t believe you’ll get it even if you book a private as other reviews suggest- they’ll say whatever they can to get out of it. The staff was rude when I queried it. Otherwise, pros: everything was clean, my single room was actually a twin so plenty of space, and the restaurant terrace looks like it’d be nice in summer. The dorm looked great as dorms go. Cons: water was lukewarm at best, no proper communal space for guests so very hard ...

Bon Hostel a Selcuk pour facilement visiter le Château et la basilique St-John a 2 minute à pied. Dortoir de 12 places avec 2 douches. Par contre, la porte est fermée et il faut appeler le gérant pour ouvrir. Un peu cher pour une expérience passable.

Overall the stay was ok. They didn't communicate directly about breakfast not being included and they didn't explain that their card machine wasnt working and I needed cash to pay.

The beds are pretty uncomfortable but overall the hostel is in a good position for visiting Ephesus and the owner provided good information.

The beds we downstairs felt like you’re in a cellar. The staff weren’t really around. I waited for 30mins At reception. The breakfast was ok

The place was ok, the shared dorm is 12 beds in a basement, but it was clean and comfortable. In the place description it says that breakfast is available with no extra cost, however they told me that my reservation doesn't include breakfast, so don't trust the description as you'll just get the bed and that's it.

Pros - good location - nice staff Cons - it’s a guesthouse not a hostel so not social, as far as I could tell no common area or kitchen - towel not provided - wifi in the dorm downstairs was a bit iffy

Amazing place to stay! The team were so helpful and full of local information — their advice was spot-on and made exploring Selçuk so much easier.

Very friendly staff. The lady from reception was waiting for me at the door after talking with my taxi driver. Very clean and tidy. Bed were comfortable. We'll located. I really recommend staying there. Thank you guys for the great service!

Overall a fine place but nothing for the record books. Beds feel a little tight in the main dorm. Good location.

Really enjoyed my stay here , it’s a funky set up with the big dorm room down stairs where it’s nice a cool . There was only one other person staying down there so I had the best sleep of my trip , might be different if busier. Location is incredible, 5 min walk to St. John’s and next to some great local food . Feels like you’re in perfect spot to see everything . Staff were super super lovely , helped me with everything very attentive . Very quiet city for solo backpackers .

Great place and great location.

The Boomerang is ideal for me. I had a nice room on the ground floor, with en suite facilities. Very clean, huge bed and lovely hot shower. The Boomerang is close to the museum and St John's Church. Near local restaurants, offering good value. And the Boomerang Restaurant was very nice too. I walked the 3 kilometres to Ephesus but got the bus back, the mini-bus station is just across the park. I recommend the Boomerang for a clean and comfy stay, with people who care about their guests.

Another brilliant stay at the Boomerang! Well named, cos I keep coming back. The dorm has comfy beds, no bunks. The bathrooms kept clean and always hot water. Gamze and Hamdullah, the hosts, are lovely people who will help you with any travel problems. They speak good English. The Boomerang is right next door to the Ephesus Museum, across the road from the bus station and 10 minutes walk from the train station with regular trains to Izmir Airport. Lovely food. Clean and friendly. Great value.
