DO NOT STAY HERE! Got woken up at 6am first night & 4.45am next night by staff doing "bed checks". I have never experienced this before! Also, woke up covered in bed bug bites! The hostel threatens fines for everything! And I got stuck in 2 different bathrooms, as did other guests because of broken locks - the staff did not seem to care! As a female solo traveler I did not feel safe here. Definitely nicer hostels in DC to stay at. Avoid this one at all costs.

only problem is there were lots of little bugs in the showers, and I found a bed bug in my bed.

I woke up in the middle of the night with bed bugs crawling over me, stay clear.

Beware very warm rooms. No air circulation Bed comfort: 3/5 avg but no hair, stains or bedbugs Room and amenities: 1/5 super slow internet, most rooms got no windows and they’re very cheap with heating and cooling (dealbreaker). Social ambiance: 4/5 got a shared kitchen hangout area open 24/7.

I would not recommend staying there. I got bed bugs. there were cockroaches in the bathroom. I have been to a number of hostels around the world, and this is by far the worst one. This is the worst one. the bathrooms had no toilet paper. The staff were very unengaged. The only positive thing going for them was the location.

A lot of the toilets weren’t operational, and the few that were sometimes had trouble flushing. You could see through the shower doors, and there were also clearly bed bugs, I was bitten multiple times and didn’t feel clean the whole time I was there - do not stay here!

Bed bugs!! Staff was great. I stayed in hostels all over the world, but this is the first time in my life I got bed bugs.

This place is a dump. I got eaten alive in my bed by bedbugs.
