Hostel Laksour

THIS HOSTEL IS NOT 24 HOUR RECEPTION AT 2AM WE WERE YELLED AT TELLING AND TOLD WE COULDNT STAY AFTER ALREADY BOOKING A RESERVATION. The man at the door was incredibly rude and kept telling us that he didn’t receive our booking even though I was showing my booking confirmation. We pleaded and begged since we had no place in stay in not the safest area as young women. After a long time of begging he eventually lets us in and we find the printed out paperwork of our reservation. Horrible.

Terrible stay, unfriendly staff, too many rules, bad beds, room, washroom.

reserve cuarto de 8 camas y me dieron el de 10 con una baño adentro donde venían gente de otro cuarto además esa noche hacía un frío de pelar y el baño no puerta en práctica está al viento así que toda el aire de afuera entra en el cuarto.no hay calentacion ,el desayuno alas 8 todavía no estaba.el Hostel no aparenta como las fotos de internet....no lo recomiendo no hubo nada que me gustó de la estructura

Bad management and bed bugs. The management just sush you whenever you try and say more then one sentence. They have a real bed bug problem as put in by myself and other fellow traveller.

well located with good lockers (lock included), sheets smelled clean, hearty breakfast but no fresh bread (frozen), rooms had no doors just a curtain meaning it was very very cold at night (i got a fever), often there was no hot water in showers, very hard mattress, do not go on any excursions offered or ask reception for recommendations they will only offer horrible tourist traps (do your own research instead). Would not stay here again.

The building itself is nice. Unfortunately a couple of big red flags. 1st the Hostelworld page at time of booking stated '24 hour reception, no curfew', however when we arrived at 1:30am after a night out we were told we were lucky to be let in as the last entry is midnight. 2nd and more severely when we came back after a few days and asked to stay another night, my female friend and I were told we needed separate rooms as sharing was 'not good for her intimacy'. Yet they advertise mixed dorms!

The man running the reception got into a disagreement and screamed at a guest checking-in, causing him and another woman to have to leave. Despite stating a 24h reception the main door was locked and there was no one to open it in the morning, even after having reminded them of my early flight, and they did not pick up calls. Place is clean and good location, but overall bad experience.

Had a bit of a mixed time at this hostel. Both me and my boyfriend really liked the place, it had a great location and the breakfast was nice, however I would recommend doing your own research on tours as this hostels pricing was far higher than local tour groups for the exact same tour. The owner can be a bit aggressive - to the point of rude, when selling the tours as we found out, which made us completely uncomfortable. Hes clearly ripping off tourists which we found out the hard way.

There is a weird guy who is watching everything that you do/ listening what you say with your couple. We didn't feel secure in this place.

Woke up with new bed bug bites 2 of 4 nights. Very friendly and welcoming staff. They welcome you to the hostel by giving you some delicious Morocan tea. There was an additional $30 tax that we did not expect until we arrived. The rooftop terrace and courtyard were really cool. I had my laundry done but it took 2 days to hang dry the clothes because the sun was not out. Difficult to find on our first night. It was never too loud even though our room opened up to the courtyard.

Peaceful hostel with a beautiful little courtyard, super friendly staff and good breakfast, would definitely stay again. It was nice to meet some Moroccan tourists staying there too. (If you’re female and book the mixed dorm you will be moved to the female dorm on arrival for a small fee - therefore it should be called male dorm and in my opinion charge the same for both.)

Very good and nice place☺️ just be aware that they lock the door for safety at night so talk to them if you come early or late

The staff was very kind, helpful, and friendly. The hostel was in a very central location which made it easy to get around the city. And the complementary breakfast was amazing. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again.

Très bien localisée, l’équipe est adorable, petit déjeuner inclus, très calme, génial et super rapport qualité prix !

The hosts were so nice. You freel like home and they are always welcoming you. The breakfast is really nice and also the terrace on the roof is perfect to releax, eat and socialise.

Personal super amable. Buen desayuno.

Very cool place in the Medina. Hosts were friendly and very welcoming. Loved the courtyard and terrace. Breakfast was good. Would have preferred a slightly larger lock box for my stuff but wasn't too worried about it.

you can book taxis to the airport through the hostel and they provide breakfast with the bookings, however the location felt a bit dodgey walking to the hostel, nice hostel once you’re there tho, comfy beds

pretty good overall and i’d stay again! rooms were quite stuffy so we had to sleep with the door open, also we were only given one roll of toilet paper at a time. no one is given a key so you have to ring the doorbell and wait to be let in - had to wait ~10 minutes once. it is located down a quiet side street so i’m not sure how safe i’d feel at night alone if i was solo as a woman.

I really loved the hostel. Everyone is super friendly and the roof is great to relax. Also the hostel is placed perfectly
