Houseboat Young Wild Rose

Overall great houseboat to stay in Srinagar and would definitely be back again if I return to the town. It’s in an idyllic location, with mountain and lake views. Ibrahim, Sultan & co. are very attentive and accommodating and you feel at home here. Some of the facilities listed aren’t actually available (such as TV, swimming pool etc.), but no AC can be hard on hotter days. The rooms can get pretty warm which can make sleeping tough. Overall however, great place and I highly recommend it!

Best place to stay in Kashemir We have been at home in the HouseBoat Wild Rose for 3 beautiful nights, extremely nice place, clean and well located, extremely well kept, the rooms and common areas are beautiful, tidy, clean and ready to spend a few incredible days. We are in love with the staff, we even attend to a wedding with them. Thank you a lot HouseBoat Wild Rose people, more than a place to stay it is an experience that we will remember forever. Stayed at houseboat Young wild rose from June 23 to29. Having stayed before in April for 2 nights,and experienced the hospitality and family spirits a pleasure to return I highly recommend this houseboat,not just for the value nor the quality of the home made food or the quiet and tranquil location on lake Dal My main reason for returning was the kind and helpful attitude of Faizan his father and all concerned Things like getting my mobile sim,a necessity if on business as I was .Thank you ...

I arrived in Kashmir and was instantly greeted by the hospitality of the Kashmiri people and Ibrahim, the owner of the houseboat, as well as his family. They try everything they can to make you enjoy your stay, in which they certainly never failed. They gave me the chance to go Trekking in the Himalaya as well as boat tours on Dal Lake or trips to the city of Srinagar. The houseboat also is a perfect place to just relax and meeting new people. An experience I will never forget, thanks to evryone
