I stayed 6 nights here and explored the island from Ponta Delgada which is easy as everything is in an hour car range and you can also adapt your daily plans to the weather. The central location of the hostel is really key, great restaurants are only a few steps away. It is modern, very clean and well appointed. Tiago, the manager was super welcoming, kind and helpful! Unfortunately my nights weren’t very restful as many guests stay only for one night before they fly out (late in and early out...

Very clean and stylish accommodation. Nevertheless it was hard to connect to other travelers here as this is more like a hotel then a hostel.

Island Bliss is located right downtown making it easy to walk to many of the tourist activities in the area. The staff were friendly, everything was clean, and the place felt quite safe This is more expensive than typical hostels I usually stay in, but the beds were very comfy and the decor was more similar to a hotel than a hostel. I would stay here again

Wunderbar sauberes Hostel mit ruhiger Atmosphäre, netten Leuten, gemütlichen Betten und sehr schöner Einrichtung. Die Reception war zwar ferienhalber nicht besetzt, aber der Eigentümer immer über whats app erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Alles Top.

Very good overall

Clean and chill hostel with nice staff. Near small markets and walkable to many spots in the city. Staff was helpful with sending check-in information in advance and I had no problem checking in. I liked that the lockers were wardrobes so you can hang your clothes. No social atmosphere when I was there.

Island bliss was awesome. Super clean rooms, nice kitchen, and very helpful & friendly staff!! Amazing recommendations for stuff to do on Sao Miguel. My only negative thing to say was that the common areas often smelled quite strongly of cigarettes. Overall amazing experience. Thank you!!!

Amazing stay in Island Bliss, Tiago, the manager, is super kind and available, he can give you precious advises on what to do on the island, also, they usually have discounts on some activities. The atmosphere in the hostel is really calm and nice, and allows you to live the hostel life but in a softer and chill way. The location is also super good, you got everything you need in 5-10 min walk, in Ponta Delgada

I loved my stay here! Nicer than hotels I have been too. The first thing I noticed is how clean everything is, the ladies work hard at their job. The towels are replaced are 1-2 days as well I notice. Super easy to get into as it’s just a code. The bed and blankets were very cozy. The bathroom was modern. Only drawback is that it can be chilly at times or loud as the structure of the windows are single-panelled due to Portugal laws. Overall, 10/10 recommend this place.

Best hostel I've ever stayed at. Fabulous, clean, great location, wonderful shower and beds, fantastic staff.

First of all thank you to Tiago, great recommandations and care. Great rooms and comfortable beds. Fully equipped kitchen to be able to make real food. Only tip- if you are a light sleeper find a different place since it’s located on a busy street it gets busy in the mornings. If not then definitely book this establishment. Very safe for solo travelers

Myself and my friend had an amazing time at Island bliss. It was super simple to check in and check out, it got cleaned every day, we got fresh towels every day, kitchen was amazing. I couldn’t find one bad thing to say. If you are going to Azores I would absolutely recommend Island Bliss.

Island Bliss was hands down the BEST hostel I’ve ever stayed out! Hostel was CLEAN, rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, fresh towels every two days, rooms cleaned daily, Check-in was easy, staff was kind and helpful, location was ideal -many food places within a 5 minute walk. Def recommend!

Super friendly staff! Clean Room and comfy beds

I had a great time at Island Bliss. Communication was great, and it was no problem to store luggage before check-in or after check-out. Upon arrival, you get a tour of the hostel. The room was clean and had everything you need. The people staying with me were very nice and respectful. It is a great place to meet new people, yet also a peaceful and quiet hostel. The kitchen was well managed and never overcrowded. My flight was cancelled on the last day, and I had no problems extending my stay.
