Terrace Lisbon Hostel

The place was nothing like the pictures showed.

Bedbugs on the hostel! Had to deal with severe rashes after our stay here and treat all of our luggage to avoid infestations. Additionally, they refused to listen to our complains. Avoid at all costs!

Dirty and moldy bathrooms, squeaky and very thin beds, room doors would not close, nobody was ever at the reception, I don't recommend!

El hostal en una visión general no parece estar mal, pero luego te empiezas a fijar mas en as cosas al habitarlo y te das cuenta que muchas cosas no están del todo bien. Lo que realmente fue lo peor fueron las chinches en los colchones, ocasionando picaduras a mis compañeras y a mi. Al avisar de esto nos reubicaron en otro sitio, i nos pidieron perdón. Sobretodo agradecer la amabilidad de una de las trabajadoras del edificio ya que fue la que gestiono todo el asunto. El jefe ni puto caso.

Auberge qui laisse à désirer, tant sur le plan de la sécurité ( personne se baladant ds les communs jusqu’à 3h du matin en faisant du bruit ) Très mauvaise hygiène! Auberge pas propre du tout. Le matériel est extrêmement abîmé et pas remplacé, je ne sais pas pourquoi! Jamais nous ne remonterons les pieds la bas !!! A fuir absolument !!!

bedbugs.... it took me a hospital treatment (injection) and one week of medication to get rid of them. The hostels answer was switching the room.

It was the WORST experience I've had in a hostel so far. First of all, the bunk bed in which I was supposed to sleep in was literally about to fall apart. My friends were scared of sleeping in the bed below mine, once that it looked like the bed on top was about to fall over the bottom one. All the screws were loose and the bunk bed was swaying everytime I moved on my bed. The manager told me all the beds were old like that one, but there had never been an accident (?!) I felt so relieved!

The room was dirty and the ceiling full of mold. One day I found a cleaning cloth in my bedroom! Like the cleaner left it in my bed sheet. The bathrooms weren't always clean. Generally, it's an old building with no renovation so it seems worse. There arent so many plugs for everyone and the beds are too small, as well as the room. In addition, even we had a key for our room, it didn't work. So the door was always open. Totally no for value money! The only good thing is that it' s quiet.

Unfortunately this was the worst hostel I’ve stayed in on Portugal. It looks nothing like the pictures and when I first got there I really thought I accidentally checked into the wrong hostel. When I checked in (9pm) there was no one there to let me in, when I reached them, someone came down and showed me the room without talking to me or giving me the wifi Password or just showing me around. honestly I would probably skip this one. While it is extremely clean and well maintained, I felt super unsafe there. It’s clear that there are multiple elderly male guests that are living in the hostel and as a solo female traveler it made things extremely uncomfortable. The vibes were just awful I was actually scared to go to sleep . The other guests seemed to be either mentally ill or on substances. I feel bad because staff was lovely and trying their best. It is also in a bad location.

Es un hostal bien ubicado en el barrio de Belem. El personal muy atento y amable pero las instalaciones y limpieza algo deficiente. Se nota que tienen su tiempo y no se conservan tan bien.

This place needs a lot of work. There are no locks on the bedroom doors, the building's door won't close properly andthe receptionist is almost never at his post. Cleanliness in the bathrooms was terrible. But most concerning are guests that have stayed there for a long time that harass others and behave erratically.

The hostel itself is very nice, you should keep in mind tho, that it is located in Belém, about 30min away from the city centre

Front door was broken into when I was there by another guest. The single room was by the bathroom and kitchen and I was woken up a couple times.

We booked this hostel because it was in the centre of Belem and it was a pleasure to stay here! The place was very clean and not crowded. The staff was also very kind.

There are guests living in the hostel who think that that's their house. They make the life of regular guests a nightmare.

Nice and overall satisfying place. Very kind host with a cute dog. Would recommend the hostel!

L’emplacement est très très bien!! C’est sécuritaire et il y a une cuisine complète!! La terrasse à l’extérieur est parfaite pour passer des belles soirées

We had a good stay and enjoyed the outdoor terrace especially at night. I recommend!

o valor cobrado foi maior do que oferecido pelo hostelworld, quase 10 euros a mais. quando questionei disse que eram taxas... fiquei apenas 2 noites. a cama não era fixa (beliche), então quando um se mexe o outro sente, o que atrapalha o sono, achei limpo, chuveiro bom, tem cozinha, bom localização, perto de mercado e principais pontos turisticos de belém. seguro, so entra com senha. o ruim mesmo foi o valor que não era o esperado :( tinha ferro de passar roupa isso me ajudou muito!

Ostello pulito e curato, vicino alle attrazioni di Belem. Camere e spazi comuni puliti. Personale che parla inglese sempre a disposizione.

For sure one of the best hostels I've stayed at, as I walked in, it had such a positive vibe and atmosphere 🥰 the staff were so lovely and helpful, the people staying there were so considerate of everyone around them, which is not a normal thing. The hostel itself was beautiful and well kept, the beds were comfy, and it's in a great area, I will definitely be staying again, highly recommended.
