Sabah pension has an amazing location in the heart of Antalya old town unfortunately that’s the only thing they have going for them . Laundry service was pretty decent as well . Upon check - in there was someone sleeping in the reception area which is not professional but alright will let that slide . The room size was small and cramped , the lamp shades are about to fall off , the windows are so dirty looks like they have never been cleaned since the place was built , the floor is dirty with stains and they cover it with side table on top of it . No duvet for the bed , had to cover ourselves with the duvet cover not even blanket .The bathroom was not cleaned properly , there areno wardrobe facilities , the fridge / cooler in the room wasn’t cleaned properly .The water pressure in the shower is almost nil , once you use the toilet ,the shower does not work you have to wait a good 10 mins for the water pressure to be strong enough for a shower , there are bugs in the room ( hopefully not bed bugs ) . Luckily I managed to spot them and get rid of them Immediately. The only saving grace was one the housekeeping ladies, ( I am not sure what here name is ) she was lovely , always had a smile on her face and assisted me if I needed something ) The rooms and place definitely need a full refurb for the prices that are being charged per night . Just 100m down the road where I previously stayed the place was amazing, unfortunately they were fully booked so I couldn’t stay there . Anyone visiting Antalya do not be fooled by the pictures you see online as there is much more that meets the eye with this place . Not worth for the amount you are being charged . As a manager working in the hotel industry in Europe and london now , none of this is new to me , I have seen it all but there is point where in I have to be outspoken in order for Sabah pension to take action and pull up their socks . If that place were ever audited trust me it would never pass in a million years . Please take my feedback as constructive criticism to improve for the future .
