The Room @ Bugis

Bed bugs alert! i got more than 10 itchy bumps (with black spot on each bump) on my neck, hands, legs and belly after staying here, a clear indication of being bitten by bed bugs. As a super affordable dormitory style hostel with a lot of budget travelers from all over the world checking in and out each day, it’s probably almost impossible to avoid issues like this and it is truly understandable. Note that the skin reaction to bed bugs from each individual varies, depending on each person’s immunity. Some may not have any symptoms at all while some may develop a full blown rash or mosquito bumps with burning sensation after being bitten. If you fall into the latter, perhaps you should think twice before considering to book and stay at this place. Apart from this, each cabin’s wall is not sound proof so you can easily hear the person in the next cabin talking or snoring. Yet the place is highly popular with budget travelers. The location is great as it’s not far from public transport eg. MRT, local eateries, shopping and major tourist attractions. So plan and consider wisely before deciding to book and stay here.
