Hostel La Smala

I had bedbugs in my bed. I reported the issue two times, but I was told that it was not possible to have bedbugs. However, after having my clothes professionally cleaned because of the infestation, I found one bedbug. Two of the three nights I stayed were terrible. I am still suffering from the bites after I left four days ago, which continue to appear and are extremely itchy. In addition, the shared rooms have no proper ventilation. They face an enclosed living room rather than an open space, which makes the rooms very humid. The bathrooms are also in need of renovation.

Tolle Lage und sehr nette Mitarbeitende, aber unser Zimmer war sehr feucht und schimmelig und wir hatten Bettwanzen :(

We were really looking forward to our stay at La Smala. However we were bitterly disappointed. When we walked into the room you could smell the dampness, and there was no way to air out the room. Red mould/ bacteria was growing across all of the walls. Then we found a mass of bugs on one wall and some in bed, around 50 bugs, possibly bed bugs. When we couldn't change rooms we asked for a refund and they eventually gave 40% back. Very dissatisfied with how the staff dealt with the situation.
