The Blue Parrot Hostel JBR

The property was over booked and they denied hiving us the bed at the time we arrived, the site should be listing properties post due diligence so people are not scammed when they reach there. It was so badly kept and was stinking and people were sleeping on the couches as they had booked the space but didn’t get a bed to stay. This was my first international trip with my sister and we were stranded on a foreign land without accommodation because we trusted you. I had to pay 2000 Dirhams more.

Worst hostel ever. Previous reviews are not reale: is dirty as any other hostel I visited, there are only 2 bathrooms for guests (one in the shared space and second inside the mixed dorm), female room has no locker, no key so anyone was able to go inside and outside during the whole night till 5 am! Kitchen was really dirty and with no door so any smell is gonna envelop the whole hostel. Positive thing: girl from the staff was really kind and location of the hostel. Nothing else.

I stayed a week in this hostel and it was very noisy as people play Billard till late, doors are not closing properly and the girl on my room turned the switch on in the middle of the night and talked laud every night and management couldn’t handle it. Few people complained the place being noisy but not a lot happened…stay away

I had to beg for navigation instructions. Only got ‘yes’ and ‘no’ answers. Had to figure it out myself with local security-guards. I even saw a fysical fight. The advertisement is false, there was no acces to swimming pool or gym. The beds were so hard I even have bruises on my body. Shoutout to the Ugandan cleaning ladies tho, they were so sweet and helpful.

Very good atmosphere and friendly staff and guests

Someone had the great idea to transform a big highrise luxus apartment into a hostel - just a few weeks ago! I just walked hours, knee-deep in the nearby beach. Beautiful. Really nice carpets on the living room and around the billiard pool table. From the balcony can see famous Ferris wheel, yachts and water scooters moving in the bay. Two excellent bathrooms and a toilet. Kitchen even has blender. Big tv. Two bunks in the Mixed have view to the Bay. Gym,swimming pool,groceries, massa...

This hostel is a hidden gem in Dubai! From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. The staff is incredibly welcoming and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and the tram. The hostel itself is clean, comfortable, and has a great social atmosphere. Whether you’re here to relax or explore, this place has it all. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be staying here again!"
