Basil Homestay And Hostel

Very clean rooms. A safe would have been nice. The location is not very central but with Grab you can get everywhere fast.

Séjour de 2 nuits très reposant chez San. Nous avions une grande chambre, propre et bien équipée. Odeur de boule à mite très forte (nos vêtements sentent encore après quelques jours). Aussi, le quartier est très éloigné de la vieille ville où tout se passe.

Geweldig! De kamer is super fijn. Grabs zijn makkelijk te krijgen en anders kun je gebruiken maken van de gratis fiets. De host is ontzettend aardig en deed heel veel voor me. Ik kon mijn bagage achterlaten en voor en na het inchecken mocht ik zelfs nog gebruik maken van de douche. Daarna bracht hij me naar mijn bushalte. Ontzettend genoten!

The best homestay I have probably ever had. The owner was sooo friendly and I felt at home immediately, but the most important was that it was so clean. Cleaner than I ever expected. It smelled super clean immed when I stepped in the room. I think the whole room was renovated because it was spotless. In hoi an they have big mold and humid issues but I was so surprised that no issues at all here and the AC was working great and it was not humid at all. The breakfast was good. Best homestay ever!

Loved the owner, was extremely helpful and friendly the whole time we were there and tried his best to make conversation regardless of the language barrier.

We had a lovely time here, the owner is super sweet and helped us a lot. Definitely would recommend this place!

We had a really nice stay here. The owner was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed at all times, even let us shower before checking in and organized a room for us despite not booking in advance. The area had a lot of mosquitos but that’s not really the owners fault. Eve though it’s not that close to the city, there are free bikes available that make it easier to get there. Definitely would recommend!!

I had a wonderful stay and the nicest host

The Wonder was really really nice. We really enjoyed our stay. We payed like 14€ per night and were given a room, which felt like a high end hotel room. It’s 30 min via foot from the city center and there’s a supermarket next to it. I can only recommend this stay.

The hosts were so kind, they let us store our bags all day long, and use their shower again before we got on a night bus. Highly recommend!

Nice clean and tidy place with great breakfast. The host was really friendly and very helpful. Off road secure parking for the motorbike a d he new a decent mechanic around the corner and took me there for service and repairs.

The most amazing stay! The kindest host, amazing clean spacious rooms, great breakfast, and a nice walk or cycle to the old town or pottery village.

The most friendly homeowner weve met in Vietnam. The rooms are big and comfortable as well as the bathroom… Even the included Breakfast was the best we had in all hostels. Its easy to get to the center by Grab or you can rent a motorbike by yourself at the Hostel. Absolutely recommendation if you visit Hoi An!

Verbleef zelf in een privé kamer. Deze was heel ruim en had alles wat je nodig hebt. De eigenaar is super lief en komt regelmatig even vragen hoe het gaat.

I stayed for 4 Days in the Hostel and i really enjoyed it. It was super easy and to fair prices to Rent a Motorbike or a Bicycle. The Bicycle i took the one Day was even for free. The Host Sang is really friendly and speaks decent English. He helped me booking my flight and translate on a only Vietnamese Website. The Breakfast was tasty and quickly done. Sang also organized a Transport to the Airport for me for less than the Grab prices which was also really nice. On the last day before departur...

Amazing hostel, i love the owner he's very kind and friendly, always laughing and happy. the rooms are very clean and spacious. the beds are great and the area is a short distance from the beach. there are free bicycles on site and motorbike rental as-well. i will definitely be staying here when i return!

Super Kind and caring hosts, great beds, clean rooms, delicious free breakfast. A little far from the old town, but the hostel offers free bicycles with which it‘s only a 10 minute ride!

Brilliant stay at Basil Homestay. The host was amazing and sorted out moped hire, and provided quick laundry service and clean room! Would recommend and will return

I had a wonderful stay at Basil Homestay in Hoi An. The room was spotless and very well maintained, and the entire property felt clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning. I especially appreciated the free bicycles, which made exploring easy. The host, Sang, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my stay. Highly recommended.
