St Christopher's Inn Vienna

Este hostel é insalubre. Vi hóspedes fazendo checkout e as camareiras apenas arrumando a cama, nada de trocar lençóis e tal. Um percevejo me picou e isso é grave! Os colaboradores são mal humorados e maltratam os hóspedes. Há apenas três casa d rabanho para um andar que tem 48 hóspedes. Por sim, eles não atendem a nossa solicitação, reservamos d rum jeito e quando chega lá eles mudam de ideia nos impondo a aceitar. Jamis voltaria a hospedar neste hostel e não recomendo ninguém a se hospedar.

We were bitten by bed bugs after just one night of staying there. We rented a private room for three people on the 4th floor, room 412. In the morning, we noticed bites on the face and fingers. The reaction was severe, with an allergic response, and as a result the vacation was ruined. I have experienced this problem before, so I can confidently say these were bed bug bites. This was a very unpleasant situation. I hope the hostel management will take this issue seriously and carry out proper disinfection. Please be careful

Die Bettbezüge waren nicht sauber! Der Boden war nicht gewischt (nach wenigen Schritten waren die weißen Socken an der Sohle total dreckig). Stockflecken in der Dusche, Handbrausenaufhängung kaputt. Schon während des Aufenthalts hatte unser Sohn plötzlich rote Flecken auf der Haut, die ziemlich juckten. Zunächst dachten wir an einen nächtlichen Mückenüberfall. Aber dann hätten mein Mann und ich eigentlich auch Stiche haben müssen. Dem war nicht so. Wieder zuhause schickte ich unseren Sohn zum Arzt. Der meinte, dass die Stiche durchaus von Bettwanzen (!!!) sein könnten, da sie in einer bestimmten Linie hintereinander gesetzt waren. Sowas hatte ich vorher noch nie gesehen! Mittlerweile sind die Stiche/Bisse glücklicherweise wieder verheilt. Eigentlich wollten wir uns gar nicht zu den Gegebenheiten äußern, nur noch abhaken und vergessen; aber wenn ständig nachgefragt wird, wie der Aufenthalt gefallen hat … Das schlimmste war dann auch noch das Frühstück: der Cappuccino(??) Kaffee (??) - ungenießbar. Drei dunkle Tropfen, dann Wasser aus dem Automaten. Von Milchschaum keine Spur. Wir haben daraus gelernt, dass man doch genauer hinschauen sollte, wo man sich einbucht. Es musste diesmal nur sehr schnell gehen, und da haben wir das erstbeste Quartier genommen, das 24 Stunden check-in anbot - leider. Aber so naiv sind wir künftig mit Sicherheit nicht wieder !

Clean and safe place to stay, super nice and kind, no bed bugs found

There was bed bugs there, a girl in my room changed rooms after she said her bed had some. I noticed a couple days later bumps all over my arms and legs. The people working did not do anything for pest control. The staff was nice, the food at the bar/restaurant was very good. There was a metro station close by to get to the city center. The rooms were so hot and had one single fan in there, not enough to keep anyone cool. To make it not as hot, you had to keep the windows open at night, which wouldn't be an issue except the bar was right below and would get very loud at night. The beds weren't all that comfortable, so I didn't get great sleep while I was there. I also didn't see anyone clean my room or bathroom the four days I was there. The drain in the shower was clogged, so the shower would fill up with water, which was kind of gross.

Unfortunately, the bed I was assigned had bedbugs, and I ended up with multiple bites. The room had no air conditioning despite the extreme heat of 36°C, making it extremely uncomfortable. There was also a constant unpleasant smell in the bathroom. On top of that, they charge for luggage storage after check-out — €2 per hour. I wouldn’t recommend this hostel.

The hostel seemed to be clean, but my bed was full with bed bugs. In the morning I was full with itchy bug bites. I couldn't slepp well. My bed linen seemed somebody used is before without cleaning. Extra charge for towels. Search for another hostel!

Bad food. Good veggie menu Great staff super friendly and help-full. BUT it’s important to know we found BED BUGS!! Multiple in our room of 6. The staff was very helpful in sorting our situation but we did not receive any compensation nor did we get to change rooms( the only rooms available had no electricity and not enough room for all of us). I really regret saying this because the stay was nice other wise but I WOULD NOT Recommend staying somewhere with such poor hygiene.

Ich würde 0 Sterne geben, aber das geht bei Google leider nicht. Das Hostel war dreckig und unhygienisch, die Toiletten und duschen waren gefühlt 5 qm groß und erinnern an Knast. Die Zimmer waren klein und ähneln einem Gefängnis und die Lage ist Katastrophe. In dem Zimmer 207 wurden Bettwanzen gefunden, also denk ich mal das da überall welche sind und im ganzen Hotel waren mysteriöse Flecken auf dem Boden Teppich. Außerdem gab es in den Zimmern keine Klimaanlage sondern nur einen Ventilator, was für ein Zimmer mit sechs Personen unakzeptabel ist. Geht niemals dahin, Frühstück schmeckt eklig und das ganze Hotel riecht ekelhaft. Dort waren komische Menschen und die Leute saßen in der Lobby mit nackten Füßen auf der Couch und haben ihre Füße an sie gerieben… Wien an sich eine schöne Stadt, aber die Menschen da sind echt komisch und als junge Frauen hat man an vielen Orten, sogar in einem vollen Müller oder Aldi, keine Ruhe und wird ohne Scham oder Hilfe belästigt.
