I’ve been completely bit by bed bugs (a guest took a video of them), and after bringing this up to staff, they were apologetic but did not take accountability. The dorm room itself is fine, but the bathroom was dirty. There was an open box of bread in the bathroom and water pooling on the floor. The shower was a communal shower but with frosted glass, offering no privacy. The breakfast was okay, and the cafe area was comfortable. The WiFi kept cutting out. Staff offered a free towel thankfully.

One bed out of 6 had bedbugs and a friend was allergic, please clean them asap

Bonjour, Nous avions réservé une chambre pour une nuit en novembre. Nous avons vu au réveil des punaises de lits. Lorsque nous avons prévenu l’accueil il nous a été répondu que pour eux c’était « seulement un problème esthétisme » et qu’il n’y avait donc pas de problème qu’on les ramène chez nous en France. Je me suis effectivement battue contre pendant plusieurs semaine. J’ai demandé un remboursement, le seul geste était le petit déjeuner et la proposition de reprendre une chambre ce qui est hors de question vu le cauchemar que j’ai vécu.

There were bedbugs in my room.

Stayed for 4 nights. Check-in and -out was easy, extension of the stay too, the staff were very nice. There is no real common area, just a couch at the reception and a cafe next to it. The kitchen is not open for use, but you can ask the staff to put smth in the microwave for you and they'll give you cutlety and plates etc. which you can take to your room too. In the morning, while breakfast time, there's coffee, tea and juice for free even if you haven't paid for breakfast. The room is mostly clean, there are some muliplugs next to the beds. The bathroom is not completely clean but not as bad as in other hostels. Smth very nice is the balcony. There are chairs and a table on it where you can sit in the evening. Unfortunately I've got lots of bites. I'm not sure weather they're from bed bugs (I've seen another review mention them) or from mosquitos.. anyway, you should bring smth against mosquitos, they're all over the city. The promenade is 7 - 10 mins by foot, there's a supermarket within a 3 mins reach and the next bus station with connections to the airport and the main bus terminal (I'm not sure about the ferry terminal) is around the corner.

Bed bugs! Avoid the place!

This is in a beautiful spot and the cafe is really lovely. The breakfast is also delicious. However there were some drawbacks for us. My friend got bedbug bites from bed 5 in room one. We let the staff know afterwards and they apologised and said they'd address it, which i thought was great and an adequate response, but just a heads up to keep an eye out. We noted that beds in that room have continued to be bookable online, while my understanding is that to treat them for bedbugs, the room needs to be empty for at least 24 hours. We also had some uncomfortable interactions with staff while we were there that left me feeling treated more like a naughty kid than a guest. Maybe I'm being oversensitive, or maybe they're used to guests taking the piss a bit and needing to manage behaviour? - i walked into the kitchen which is in the common area and has a sign saying "SELF SERVICE" on it, and was called quite sharply to leave because it's staff only - when arriving back quite late, the receptionist said it had been reported we'd taken the wrong beds. We hadn't. - in the morning, a while after breakfast a staff member chased me up and asked where were the small jars of tahini and olives that came with breakfast, had i taken them? I had put them back near the kitchen to make it easy to clean up. Anyway. Beautiful spot, and maybe we caught the team on an off day.

The problem is bed bugs and nowhere to leave luggage and shoes except for under the beds as there was no space in the dorm. I did ask staff about bugs as the dorm was disinfected half way through my stay, but they denied an issue and my backpack was in the room the whole time. Unfortunately it has been a nightmare since I left trying to get rid of them from luggage to not spread them. Shame because the location, most staff and other travellers were great.

Nice location in the city center and very friendly girls at the reception desk. However, something needs to be done with the bedbugs. My first night I had to ask for another bed since I found a bug walking on me. And the second night there was another one in my pillow. I understand that with backpackers bugs arrive but it's not really acceptable.
